Would you wear these new metallic silver and gold patent leather BAPE STAs? As we talked about in our “Is Bling Coming Back?” article, these are certainly refreshing to see on a media-level, and remind of BAPE’s glory days (at least in the US.) Looking at the same brown leather and suede shoes all day can get tedious, so thank you BAPE for keeping things shiny.

After many years being known for being the most flashy of sneakers, Bape has taken it a step back and presents some solid new versions of its Bape Sta for Spring 2010. The latest offering includes the Bape Sta Canvas, which comes with white uppers and contrasting outer soles. Further details include the Bape Sta logo on the laces and a 3-color stripe on the heel, which actually looks very similar to the signature Thom Browne colors.

The Bape Sta by A Bathing Ape will be coming out in a new “Single Color” pack. The pack consists of 3 colorways of the Bape Sta, each coming in monotone colors on the upper and with Bape Sta logo laces. The sneakers will release today at Bape stores.

Also coming in three colorways, the uppers of the sneakers all come in premium white leathers and only the Bape Sta logo on the side is covered in Bape check patterns.

We present you the new Bapex Clear colorways and the new Bape Sta Wood Land from the Fall 2009 Collection of A Bathing Ape. The Bapex Clear comes in a green and a neon yellow colorway, perfect for the last summer days. The Bape Sta sneaker comes in more subtle looks than what we usually see from Bape. The Wood Land pack consists of overall 4 colorways.

Bape has released the Bape Sta 88 Hi Rainbow. The high top sneaker comes with a white base and different color patent leather accents. Knowing Bape, a rainbow theme sneaker could have turned out much more colorful. Anyways, these are now available in Bape stores around the globe.

New footwear is coming from the Bape Fall 2009 Collection. The Bape Sta Tiger comes in a grey/white colorway with tiger graphic on the back. The Road Sta Foil comes in overall 6 colorways, featuring metallic uppers. Both sneakers are now available in Bape stores.
