Bape has released a nice looking new tote bag for Spring 2012. The 1st Camo Canvas Tote comes with a mostly off-white heavy canvas upper. The iconic Bape 1st camouflage pattern sets some nice accents on the upper and the leather handles add a premium touch to the piece. It comes in two colorways and is now available from Bape stores.

In the upcoming show, the Bape Gallery will not only be showcasing the new Bape x Meister Furniture, that we just presented, but also a new series of Bape Canvas. The new series includes the ABC Multi Canvas in two colors, the 1st Camo Canvas in two colors, the Scrap Canvas in two colors and the Milo All Safari Canvas in one color.

Bape has teamed up with Meister from Japan to produce a series of ABC Camo Sofas. Coming as a 1 Seater, 2 Seater and 2.5 Seater, all of them feature the iconic A Bathing Ape ABC Camo pattern in green, pink or blue all over. The Made in Japan furniture will be showcased at the Bape Gallery, starting February 25th, 2012.

In a special edition line for Zozotown, Bape and Porter get together. For the occasion they decided to go with the tonal Bape Jacquard ABC Camo fabric in a dark navy tone. As part of the collection they present a Day Pack, Waist Bag, Wallet, Helmet Bag, Rucksack and our favorite – the 3Way Briefcase that can be carried as a bag or a backpack.

In an interesting move, A Bathing Ape presents their latest collaboration for Spring 2012 with classic sportswear brand McGregor. Together the two brands produced the Half Bapecheck Hoodie Jacket and the Drizzler Jacket. Both feature trademark Bape design details, including Bapecheck and Bape Camo patterns, on classic McGregor jacket silhouettes. The jackets each come in two colorways and are now available from Bape Stores.

After announcing the collaborative range by Bape and Comme des Garcons PLAY last week, we can finally give you a look at some first pieces of the collection. As it turns out these were not real.

UPDATE: We just got word from the Bape Marketing department that the t-shirts shown here are actually fake. Sorry for the confusion guys and congrats to who ever did it, they came out pretty good. Hopefully we can soon show you the real collaboration between the two brands. The official collection by the two brands will be revealed on March 8th, 2012, and seems to be exclusive to the new Dover Street Market Ginza. For now only the above mashed logo design is official.

A Bathing Ape introduces a new mid top sneaker for Spring/Summer 2012. Keeping it classic, the Chukka Mid comes with a classic 1st Camo canvas upper in two colorways. Further details include the boat shoe style lace wrap and the Bapesta logo placement on the mid-sole. The sneaker is now available from Bape stores around the globe.

Today Bape informs us about their next collaboration and this one comes as a surprise, we have to admit. They will be releasing a collaborative offering with the Comme des Garcons PLAY line. The above graphic might give a first hint at how things will look. Of course we will keep you posted on the collection, as first images of it become available.

Later this month, A Bathing Ape will be releasing a new series of 100% Bearbrick toys in collaboration with Medicom. The Bearbricks will come in three classic camouflage colorways of the Japanese brand. A drop is scheduled for January 28th, 2012.

The iconic Bape 1st camo pattern is now also arriving on shirts. The Japanese brand presents the 1st Camo Flannel Shirt for Spring 2012, featuring the green pattern all-over, only distracted by the contrasting white buttons. Look for these at Bape Stores now.
