In an interesting new project Italian illustrator Anna Utopia Giordano remixes known alcohol brand bottles with iconic toy brands. The result is Barbie Vodka, Lego Rum, Fisher Price Whiskey, Nintendo Gin, Disney Champaign and Marvel Martini.

Aside from The Beatles x Comme des Garcons collaboration collection, Dover Street Market will also be launching soon the new X-Mas Campaign of the Japanese brand, entitled “Jingle Flowers” this season. The collection consists of a bunch of extremely varied products including Artek chairs, Snowballs, Superga sneakers, Medicom Bearbricks, DSM flower bottle perfume, and a range of T-shirts, wallets and fluo sweaters in collaboration with various artists such as Paul Morrison and Donald Sultan. Last but not least, they will also release the first ever Rei Kawakubo designed Barbie Dress.

Continuing its 50th anniversary celebrations, the Barbie mania is about to break out at London’s Dover Street Market. Andy Hillman and Martin Smeaton created a large scale Barbie sculpture for the DSM window display. Furthermore Henry Holland designed a couple of outfits for the famous doll.

The idea of adding a character to a bow tie is not that strange, considering the current trend towards the neck accessory, but we are not sure how many people will be able to pull off this new Alexis Mabille x Barbie “Ken” Bow Tie, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the doll. We prefer the more classic pieces from Alexander Olch.
