24 Kilates once again joins forces with New Balance. For their first collaboration a couple of months ago, on the New Balance 1700, the store was inspired by Antoni Gaudi. This time another famous Spanish artist got them inspired – Joan Miro.
"Regarding the features, it’s important to point out that Miró has two distinctive subjects: his surrealism and the use of the basic colours of the whole spectrum. We decided to manipulate those colours but using a black background, taking in consideration the surrealism mentioned above. The shoe, which combines perforated leather and suede, reaches its harmony when it’s seen from a distance. The attractiveness of this sneaker comes from a mixture of basic colours and surrealism – a mixture that provides its own sense for itself." Via Sneaker Freaker.
The sneaker will be released Spring 2009, around the end of January.

It’s this time of the year again – Bread & Butter. The show starts today and already the first event took place last night. Slam Jam x Chikashitsu launched the first group ofthe Stussy x Neighborhood Boneyards collection in Barcelona with a get together at the Chikashitsu store. Lots of people came through and there was a good vibe. 
Chikashitsu looked better than ever, not only having the Boenyards collection in stock, but also the latest from Visvim, Undercover and all your other favorite Japanese brands.

A while ago we presented to you this exciting project between 24 Kilates from Barcelona and New Balance and New Era (we did an interview at the time with the man behind 24K – read it here). The boutique worked on the New Balance 1700 as well as on the 5950 New Era cap. Inspired by Gaudi, a famous artist and architect from Barcelona, they present a colorful pack with lots of meaning.
We have seen many collaboration in recent years, also from New Balance, but we can clearly say that this is one of the strongest we have seen to date. Every detail has been perfected, from the upper to the laces and the embroideries.
The time of the release is now coming close, thus we present you a new, more detailed, set of pictures of the product. The 24 Kilates x New Balance x New Era pack will be released March 12th, at 1pm when the store opens. Both the sneakers and the caps are limited to 144 pieces and there will be no online sales.

Sneaker customizer Nash held a show during the Bread & Butter tradeshow together with Trustnobody. The UK customizer has been mentioned before by us, when putting a Nike 360 sole onto a Visvim FBT. He has made some amazing works for the exhibition in Barcelona. Have a look at the video below to get an idea!

We finish our Adidas Consortium January 2008 preview with two more classics – the Greenstar and the Campus 80’s.

Thankfully Adidas kept them classic and did not try to entirely re-invent the sneakers. The Campus 80’s comes in a light blue colorway with white stripes and accents, premium leather lining and white sole.

Here we present you the last DC Shoes Holiday ‘07 collaboration. We already presented you the JB Classics, SSUR and Ben G collaborations. Here comes now another store collaboration, this time with Spanish store Trust Nobody, from Barcelona. In little time the store has managed to build a strong following locally and worldwide recognition. That is now underlined with a DC Shoes sneaker collaboration.
Trust Nobody worked on the TN Manteca and got inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in terms of colors. The inner sole is plastered with the store name.
The DC Shoes x Trust Nobody TN Manteca is being released today and Shoecity is among the first to carry it. After the jump many more detailed pictures.

It looks like Trust Nobody (Barcelona, Spain) got together with DC Shoes on a collaboration. The sneaker comes in hunter green suede and with purple and neon yellow accents. The brown part of the sneaker feels like rubber and has scratches all over it, giving the sneaker a more rough feel. Matching the sneakers comes the New Era cap in the same colors.
