British label Barker Black presents new high-top sneakers for Spring/Summer 2011. Available in deerskin or calf, depending on color, the shoes are offered in orange, green, grey, black and white, with the label’s signature skull and crossbone motif via both toe punching and a silk stripe detail. Starting in March, the sneakers will be available at Barker Black stores nationwide as well as on BarkerBlack.com.

Barker Black is a brand we have been watching closely over the last couple of years. They created an interesting brand for high end classic footwear, but added a contemporary touch to it, which is best shown through their skull and bones logo.

Now the brand has released their first sneaker and we like it a lot. It’s a clean black suede sneaker, with a stripes application on the side panels, featuring a bones pattern. Furthermore they added their logo to the toe box with perforation. An overall very clean sneaker. It is now available at Colette.
