Artist Joseph Aloi — also known as JK5 —teamed with Timex on a limited release watch for Barney’s Co-Op. Working within the confines of a small, octagonal face JK5 fluidly adorned the timepiece with symmetrical linework and vibrant color choices. Though fairly cryptic, the glyph-like etchings read “JK5″ and “Barneys,” horizontally across the top. Turned sideways the watch face reads, “Illuminate,” and the numbers one to nine. On the bottom it says, “Love, Light, Create.” The functional labeling (i.e. “start”) is slightly clearer in a contrasting color. Available this Holiday, exclusively at Barney’s Co-Op.

Once again Creative Recreation has produced some special colorways of their footwear for Barneys New York. The Kaplan was the base this season and it comes in black/rose gold and white/rose gold, while keeping an overall subtle and solid look.

For the launch of his book, The Sartorialist has teamed up with Barneys New York to launch the SartoriaLUST pop-up store.

“It has everything a Sartorialist would lust for… a specially curated mix of clothes and accessories pulled from the entire men’s store at Barneys New York.

While I was at Pitti this Summer I also collaborated on a few special items with brands like: Boglioli, Roda and Sciamat, that will be sold exclusively at The SartoriaLUST. Even Al Bazar is sending a small selection of items all the way from Milan.”

Once again Alife teams up with Barneys New York. For Summer 2009 they worked on the Everybody High Scratch Pack, which consists of three colorways – mustard, grey and burgundy. All three come with tonal and contrast laces and feature a small yellow embroidery on the heel. The pack will be released today and into the weekend at all Barneys locations, with the sneakers going for 130 USD.

Keds got together with Loomstate to produce their first ever eco-friendly footwear. Rogan Gregory and Scott Hahn designed a collection of sneakers for Keds, that will be distributed exclusively at Barneys New York.

“The shoes are eco-friendly with organic uppers and linings, nickel-free eyelets, recycled insole board and shoe boxes and no tissue paper in the packaging. Also, a percentage of sales go to the Organic Exchange.” Via LA Times.

Prices at 75 USD, the Keds by Loomstate footwear will hit Barneys this coming Monday.

Dr. Romanelli is at it again and present his “Camp Romanelli” collection, which has been developed for Barneys Japan. Much like with his other collections, the designer has one main theme running through all the pieces, which was in this case the Boy Scouts culture and history. Each piece tells a story through patches and bandanas found in the Boy Scout culture.

The line consists of jackets, shirts, shorts and pants, each coming in a variety of colors and styles, and of course each piece is a one-off, as usual.

Once again Barneys Coop and Super from Italy get together. Based on their Ciccio model, they created style made of interwining metallic streaks, combined with a Zeiss 24k lense. Limited to only 50 pieces, the sunglasses are now exclusively available at Barnyes New York.

Soon this new Alife x Barneys collaboration will be released. This time the two worked on the Court Cup, a new low top sneaker that Alife first introduced in their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The sneaker features a subtle perforated Alife logo and otherwise has a very clean silhouette, similar to the Stan Smith.

In this collaboration, the Alife Court Cup comes in four colorways with a cratch design on the upper. In our opinion one of the more interesting collaborations between Alife and Barneys. Via Soleblvd.

Just yesterday we presented to you the new Super x VNGRD “Forest” sunglasses. Here now a preview of the upcoming Barneys New York sunglasses in collaboration with Italian brand Super. The two are getting together for the second time already.

“…they come in a tiger-striped tortoiseshell frame and (as you can see) gold lenses.” They will be released next month in a limited edition of 50 pieces and judging from previous collaborations, they should cost around 150 USD. Via men.style.

Barneys has released today their latest collaboration with Alife. They worked on the Everybody Mid Patent Pack.

“The shoes have the same elastic cord and ALIFE brand embossing from the first Barneys collab, but this time the sneakers are taken up a step with patent leather and the introduction of the Barneys man on the heel and sole. Starting today, they’re available exclusively at Barneys and Barneys Co-op locations for $140.” Via Complex.
