Hysteric Glamour worked on a Bearbrick in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation for Isetan Japan. The collaborative Bearbrick will be available from 10th to 26th September 2008 at Hysteric Glamour’s Concept Store in Isetan Shinjuku. The 50% version of the Bearbrick will be given to customers who purchase at the store and the 400% Be@rbrick will be available at ¥8190. Via Toybeast.
Japanese online magazine Openers joined forces with Japanese charity organization more trees to create a new 400% wooden Bearbrick – the Eco Value Wood Bearbrick. It is made out of recycled woodsand proceeds from the sale will go in part to the more trees organization.

Once again Futura Laboratories presents as part of their new season a Bearbrick featuring the famous atomic rings design by Futura. This season it comes in white with blue and red atomic rings on the sides. Matching the Bearbrick, the brand also presents t-shirts in several colorways and polos.

One of the best pieces to come from Medicom this year is this Wooden Layered Bearbrick. The 400% toy is limited to only 150 pieces worldwide. Sold Out has them in stock now in very limited quantities.

Not for the first time Dr. Romanelli got together with Medicom on a Bearbrick. This time the designer created a transparent 400% Bearbrick, featuring the organic structure as a print. Via Toybeast.

Here we present you a project that we have been following for a while and the outcome is very impressive. Medicom worked with Tokyo Kitchen, one of Japans leading designer kitchen makers, and together they created a 1000% stainless steel Bearbrick. The entire Bearbrick is made of steel and will look great in any environment.
This is certainly one of the highlights at this years Medicom Toy Exhibition, that is taking place at the moment at Parco Art. Via Openers.

A couple of weeks ago we presented you the Air Tennis Classic that Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design will be auctioning off for charity, with the money going to China for earthquake victims. To round off the pack they will also be offering a MedicomToy Bearbrick, of course the Panda. Via Kidulty.
10CorsoComo was initially created by Carla Sozzani in Milan and still stands strong today. After Milan they opened the 10CorsoComo x Comme Des Garcons store in Tokyo and just a couple of months ago the 3rd location, Seoul.
The Tokyo store is celebrating its 6th anniversary and of course they made some special product for the occasion. Once again they joined forces with Medicom to create a new version of their 400% Bearbrick and they also made matching tote bags. Via Secretbase.

The latest in a series of Rock inspired Bearbrick’s from Medicom Toys features none other than Kiss. Every year since 2005 Japanese brand Gallery 1950 has been releasing anniversary bearbricks. For their 13th anniversary this year they made a 400% Bearbrick. It comes in black with a multicolor polka dot print and the 13 in the face. Via Toybeast.
These will be released on 4th of June at Gallery 1950 retailers.
