Once again Japanese organization more trees gets together with Medicom on a wooden Bearbrick. As usual, the wooden Bearbrick came out beautiful. This time it is made of different kinds of wood, with the name of the wood engraved onto each piece of the toy. The more trees logo has been engraved on the back of the Bearbrick. Look out for a release at rumors on October 28th.

Workwear brand Ben Davis gets together with Medicom on 100% Bearbrick. The toy comes with a black upper, featuring a design that references founding dates and home of the Ben Davis brand. Look out for a release in December 2009.

Following up on the Black Sense Market Collection that we presented this morning, we give you a look at a special 1000% Stainless Steel Bearbrick that comes as part of the collection. The incredible toy comes as a solid piece of steel and is priced at 5′250,000 Yen (58′000 USD). Matching they also poduced a 200% version of the toy, which is priced at 8200 Yen (90 USD). Just like the rest of the collection, the toy is available through The Contemporary Fix.

Now that we are getting really close to the October 17th launch of the “Where The Wild Things Are” movie, lots of product is releasing around the movie. Today the Bearbricks by Medicom Toy have come out. They present a 400% Bearbrick and a 100% double pack set. Both are now available from colette.

After presenting to you in detail the Loopwheeler Bearbrick collaboration, we take a look at other interesting new Bearbrick releases. Mickey Mouse comes dressed up as Peter Pan, Minotaur presents a metallic gold version, two Verner Pantone toys are in the pipeline, a Pink Ribbon key chain Bearbrick will be dropping and a 200% Chrome version of the popular toy is also being previewed. Last but not least, Medicom of course celebrates Halloween with a Bearbrick as well.

Finally we can give you a detailed look at the new Medicom x Loopwheeler Bearbrick Set. The set consists of a 1000%, 400% and 100% size. The 400% and 100% sizes feature a felt upper and the 1000% size comes with actual Loopwheeler fleece. Look out for a release soon.

The release of the much anticipated Loopwheeler Bearbricks is getting closer. The fleece specialists got together with Medicom to work on 100%, 400% and 1000% Bearbricks. They will be released with bear themed zip hoodies. A release is set for September 26th. Today we can already give you a look at the hoodies and some of the Bearbricks.

Medicom will be releasing some interesting new Bearbricks in the coming weeks. Today we get a first look at some of their upcoming collaborations. SpongeBob returns in a 400% version. Kuntzel & Deygas got to decorate two a 400% and a 100% Bearbrick with their Caperino and Peperone characters. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse come in double set in 100% sizes. Furthermore Kinetics has one again collaborated with Columbia – this time on a Bearbrick instead of clothing.

Finally we get some nice images from the recent Medicom Toy Exhibition. Previously we could only show you some snapshots, here now a more complete review.

Of course we are mostly interested in the future releases of the Bearbrick range. The exhibition showcased upcoming collaborations with WeSC, Loopwheeler, Levi’s Fenom and many others. Also interesting is the upcoming collaboration between Hello Kitty and Dr. Romanelli, consisting of both a vinyl toy and a matching t-shirt.

For the Taipei Toy Festival 2009 Medicom has released two limited edition Bearbricks. Medicom worked with Toki Doki on a special TTF 2009 100% Bearbrick, featuring an all-over character design of the brand. Furthermore they worked with Taiwanese artist Jimmy Liao on a 100% Bearbrick. Both toys have been released over the weekend.
