Finally we get some nice images from the recent Medicom Toy Exhibition. Previously we could only show you some snapshots, here now a more complete review.

Of course we are mostly interested in the future releases of the Bearbrick range. The exhibition showcased upcoming collaborations with WeSC, Loopwheeler, Levi’s Fenom and many others. Also interesting is the upcoming collaboration between Hello Kitty and Dr. Romanelli, consisting of both a vinyl toy and a matching t-shirt.

For the Taipei Toy Festival 2009 Medicom has released two limited edition Bearbricks. Medicom worked with Toki Doki on a special TTF 2009 100% Bearbrick, featuring an all-over character design of the brand. Furthermore they worked with Taiwanese artist Jimmy Liao on a 100% Bearbrick. Both toys have been released over the weekend.

Atmos worked with Medicom on two Bearbrick sets, each consisting of of a 400% and a 100% Bearbrick. One of the sets comes in white with a star design and the other one comes in a glow-in-the-dark version, featuring the same upper design. Both carry a bold Atmos logo on the front. The Bearbrick sets will be released in July.

We start bringing you the first interesting product previews from the Bread & Butter tradeshow, that took off in Berlin today. WeSC continues to bring interesting new headphone styles, but raised the bar and brought Medicom Toy into the mix. They presented a series of headphones in collaboration with the Japanese toy company, who produced matching Bearbricks, as well as some Medicom Fabrick canvas accessories. The WeSC headphones were already very popular before, but this is definitely a nice addition to the offering. Overall there will be 4 sets from this series.

As seen previously here, when the Undefeated x Stussy x Hectic “Full Metallic Jacket” New Balance pack released, we can give you today more detailed views of the Bearbrick Set that comes as part of the same pack. The set consists of a 100% and a 400% Bearbrick, both featuring a dark metallic silver/black upper with red accents and logo placements.

Once again Jules Gayton from Leilow gets together with Medicom to collaborate on a Bearbrick toy as part of the 1/6 Project by the Japanese toy company. The Bearbrick features an all-over flower pattern, a graphic that we have seen before from the brand. On the back you can find a multicolor Leilow Hawaii logo print. The Bearbrick is now available in Japan.

Medicom gets together with Stussy and artist Reas on a triple Bearbrick set. The set consists of three Bearbricks in the 100% size. So far no release date has been announced yet, but we will for sure keep you posted.

Since 7 years the collaborative store of 10 Corso Como and Comme des Garcons is open in Tokyo. To celebrate the occasion the two got together with medicom to produce two 400% Bearbricks and matching t-shirts. The Bearbricks come in black/white and white/black, with only a small logo placement on the back and matching packaging. The t-shirts both also feature the Bearbricks in the form of graphics. Both Bearbricks and t-shirts are now available from Bobos.

JCB has announced a collaboration with Medicom Toy and Ping An Bank. As part of the partnership they will be releasing a series of credit cards, featuring the infamousm Medicom Bearbrick character. In the first series there will be 5 different Bearbrick Credit Cards. Look out for the release soon.

Just after presenting you the mats, here comes another 14th anniversary item from Gallery 1950. They got together with some close friends to produce this Bearbrick Set, consisting of a 400% and a 100% Bearbrick. G1950 collaborated with NEXUSVII®, Resonate, ELT and Blackout on this Bearbrick Set by Medicom. The set was released today.
