For their 5th anniversary, Original Fake presents the Companion Bearbrick toy by Medicom in a 70% keychain version. The toy comes in two colorways. But it will actually not go on sale. The Original Fake Tokyo flagship store offers the toy for free, for all purchases higher than 10′000 JPY, starting May 3rd.

Medicom Toy got together with Silas to produce two 100% Bearbricks for Summer 2011. As the brand, which was originally founded in the UK, then purchased by a Japanese company, leaving the UK, moved back into the UK market with their clothing this past season, the Union Jack branding makes sense. The Bearbrick comes in two colorways and will be released April 2011.

For the second time Medicom Toy has teamed up with retailer Gettry. This time they present the colorful 100% “Lollipop” Beabrick. The toy is now available for pre-order here.

For Valentine’s Day 2011, Be@rbrick presents several new 100% figures. Overall there are six toys: 4 different Disney BABBI figures, and 2 more to-the-point Valentine styles. Available February 2011.

Medicom and Joyrich got together to collaborate with Disney on a limited edition version Mickey Mouse Bearbrick. The toy comes with a leopard print and is getting to stores later this month.

Originally seen as part of Bearbrick Series 20, New York artist SSUR’s Bearbrick has been release for Spring 2011 in 400% size. Crafted to look like a porcelain art, the bear features various blue and gold paint strokes over a polished white base. Now in store at Caliroots. (storeguide)

The new vinyl Bearbrick by Medicom debuts in its first collaboration for the new year. Coming with a Christmas theme in a glittery metallic look, the soft vinyl toy is a collaboration with Japanese department store Isetan. It will be released January 4th.

As part of their January 2011 releases Medicom presents two Bearbricks in collaboration with EXILE iD, whom we have already seen collaborate several times with Bape. The Bearbrick comes in a 1000% and a 100% size in black/white colors and flocking details.

Celebrating the new year, Stussy will be releasing Oswald The Lucky Rabbit t-shirts in several colorways and also worked with Medicom Toy on a matching 70% Bearbrick. The tees and toys will be sold from early 2011 in Japan. Via honeyee.

In time for the first big holiday in 2011, Medicom presents their new Valentine’s Day 100% Bearbrick. It comes in a brown chocolate design and will be released 20th of January at Project 1/6.
