With the release of the Bedwin & The Heartbreakers x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star getting closer, we take a better look at the collaborative sneaker. Bedwin gave the sneaker a premium black suede upper, light grey logo patch, red logo tag on the heel and they also added a side zipper to the classic high top sneaker.

The Bedwin and Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi will release on December 3rd, 2011.

Early December Bedwin & The Heartbreakers and The North Face will release their second collaborative capsule collection. For Fall/Winter 2011 the two have worked on some nice jackets, as well as a backpack and some beanies. Bedwin infused some nice colors and patterns onto the staple The North Face items used as part of the collection.

Look out for a release at The North Face Standard in Tokyo and Bedwin retailers in the coming weeks.

With their 5th anniversary coming up, Canadian retailer Haven has collaborated with some of their favorite brands to celebrate the occasion. First up is a quilted military inspired CPO shirt together with Japanese brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers.

“The HAVEN ‘Richards’ Military Quilted CPO shirt features ‘Bedwin Heartbreaker’ chain stitch embroidery adorned along the left shoulder, metal ‘HAVEN’ triple studded stars accenting the collar and custom ‘Bedwin & The Heartbreakers for HAVEN’ printed contrast woven label on the exterior. The quilted lining make it versatile and heavy enough to be worn as a light jacket or as the perfect layering shirt. Two chest patch pockets with button closure and two side seam pockets are available for your carrying needs. A nice hit of red stitching is seen on the top button hole and bar tacked stress points. Bedwin’s motto is ‘Paramount Quality’, made in Japan to the highest standards this garment is guaranteed to stand the test of time and be in your wardrobe for many years to come.”

Coming in two colorways, the shirt is now available from Haven.

As we’ve already seen, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers collaborated with Dr. Martens as part of their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Together they’re presenting the ‘Dr. Know’ boot, which comes in black leather with a smoothly curved outer sole, side-zippers and  red Bedwin logo tag on the collar. Simple colors, classic materials and iconic graphic all put into one pot work for us. It might not be exciting, but the ‘Army’ New Era fitted cap by Bedwin & The Heartbreakers will be a really easy piece to wear out on a regular basis and match up with the rest of your wardrobe. The cap is releasing in the coming weeks.

Today Bedwin & The Heartbreakers from Japan has officially launched their online store. For the occasion they present a series of three t-shirts that are exclusive to the new online store. Each tee comes in both black and white and is now available here.

Bedwin & The Heartbreakers sustains their position as one of our top Japanese apparel exporters with a powerful FW11 outerwear line up. The yellow duffle coat and vibrant green camo smock draw the eyes while tweed, wool, leather and nylon jackets fill the quota for high quality understated cold-weather gear. The bright blue varsity and red parka are also stand outs. Drops are scheduled for August to November 2011.

A second interesting collaboration coming from Bedwin for Fall/Winter 2011 is together with Converse. They present the ‘Tom’ sneaker, featuring a black suede upper, white outer sole and laces, and also a side-zipper, just like the Dr. Martens boots that we presented earlier.

As part of their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers have collaborated with Dr. Martens. Together they present the ‘Dr. Know’ boot, which comes in a black leather colorway with white outer sole and side-zippers. The Bedwin logo tag has also been added to the boot at the top. Look out for a release in the coming months.

Today we can finally show you the new Bedwin & The Heartbreakers Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Entitled ‘Stop Making Sense’, the Japanese brand once again impresses with a very solid line-up of items. The knitwear, outerwear and accessories impress the most. We also continue to really like the color palette being used by the brand, which throws in some nice color blocking classics, in between mostly classic inspired styles and looks. The Bedwin look remains refreshing, while also being innovative and easy to wear, something one cannot say about a lot of collections.
