With the release of the Bedwin & The Heartbreakers x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star getting closer, we take a better look at the collaborative sneaker. Bedwin gave the sneaker a premium black suede upper, light grey logo patch, red logo tag on the heel and they also added a side zipper to the classic high top sneaker.

The Bedwin and Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi will release on December 3rd, 2011.

Early December Bedwin & The Heartbreakers and The North Face will release their second collaborative capsule collection. For Fall/Winter 2011 the two have worked on some nice jackets, as well as a backpack and some beanies. Bedwin infused some nice colors and patterns onto the staple The North Face items used as part of the collection.

Look out for a release at The North Face Standard in Tokyo and Bedwin retailers in the coming weeks.

With their 5th anniversary coming up, Canadian retailer Haven has collaborated with some of their favorite brands to celebrate the occasion. First up is a quilted military inspired CPO shirt together with Japanese brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers.

“The HAVEN ‘Richards’ Military Quilted CPO shirt features ‘Bedwin Heartbreaker’ chain stitch embroidery adorned along the left shoulder, metal ‘HAVEN’ triple studded stars accenting the collar and custom ‘Bedwin & The Heartbreakers for HAVEN’ printed contrast woven label on the exterior. The quilted lining make it versatile and heavy enough to be worn as a light jacket or as the perfect layering shirt. Two chest patch pockets with button closure and two side seam pockets are available for your carrying needs. A nice hit of red stitching is seen on the top button hole and bar tacked stress points. Bedwin’s motto is ‘Paramount Quality’, made in Japan to the highest standards this garment is guaranteed to stand the test of time and be in your wardrobe for many years to come.”

Coming in two colorways, the shirt is now available from Haven.

As we’ve already seen, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers collaborated with Dr. Martens as part of their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Together they’re presenting the ‘Dr. Know’ boot, which comes in black leather with a smoothly curved outer sole, side-zippers and  red Bedwin logo tag on the collar. Simple colors, classic materials and iconic graphic all put into one pot work for us. It might not be exciting, but the ‘Army’ New Era fitted cap by Bedwin & The Heartbreakers will be a really easy piece to wear out on a regular basis and match up with the rest of your wardrobe. Bedwin & The Heartbreakers sustains their position as one of our top Japanese apparel exporters with a powerful FW11 outerwear line up. The yellow duffle coat and vibrant green camo smock draw the eyes while tweed, wool, leather and nylon jackets fill the quota for high quality understated cold-weather gear. Today we can finally show you the new Bedwin & The Heartbreakers Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Entitled ‘Stop Making Sense’, the Japanese brand once again impresses with a very solid line-up of items. The knitwear, outerwear and accessories impress the most. We also continue to really like the color palette being used by the brand, which throws in some nice color blocking classics, in between mostly classic inspired styles and looks. The Bedwin look remains refreshing, while also being innovative and easy to wear, something one cannot say about a lot of collections.

We have a soft spot for Tokyo label Bedwin. Their tag-on “& The Heartbreakers” name helps keep them in our Johnny Thunders/Tom Petty riddled minds, while the “paramount quality” garment output keeps us pushing their goods. This “Adams” straw hat is a simple piece, with little to set it apart from similar headwear, but knowing Bedwin are behind it gives us faith. Also available in black and brown.

Yes, there are better ways to help than a t-shirt, but producing and selling a t-shirt for charity is somewhat better than sitting around on the internet hating on things. Right?

Today we take another more detailed look at the next chapter of the BBU Project, a collaboration between Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, Undefeated, Beauty & Youth and adidas Originals. This time around they present the Superstar Vin “BBU” sneaker. It comes in a navy canvas version with white stripes and toe cap. The logos of all involved brands are placed on the cork footbed. The white outer sole and matching leather laces are the final premium touches.

Along with the sneakers, there will be an entire capsule collection, featuring t-shirts, sunglasses, socks and shorts. The entire pack will be released May 1st, 2011.

Once again Japanese magazine Sense presents The Black Sense Market, a series of product collaborations with fellow Japanese brands, with all product coming exclusively in black and is only sold through The Black Sense Market website.

This season they teamed up with visvim, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, mastermind JAPAN and Tenderloin, with more to follow. Currently the visvim collaboration is certainly the most interesting, offering pants, a jacket, a backpack and shoes.

You can expect the product to release in the coming months.

Under the collaborative BBU Project, Beauty & Youth by Untited Arrows, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers and Undefeated once again join forces to create an adidas sneaker, after having released a Stan Smith around the same time last year.

The adidas Superstar Vin “BBU” comes in a navy canvas colorway with white leather stripes and heel tab. Once again a really clean looking sneaker that is easy to match to to wear in general. Look out for a release soon.

Garbstore gets together with Bedwin & The Heartbreakers to collaborate on a messenger bag for Spring/Summer 2011. The black canvas bag comes with a white print detail and small red logo tag, while otherwise staying really clean. Look out for a release of the bag soon at the Garbstore in London (storeguide). In an interesting collaboration deparment store Isetan Men’s has teamed up with Bedwin & The Heartbreakers on a small capsule suit collection. The elegant, yet casual suits come in dark grey. They offer two types of suits, one coming with 3/4 pants. The most interesting feature is for sure the inside pocket construction of the blazers, which feature dedicated pockets for credit cards, digital camera and everything else one could need on the go. The suits have been released at Isetan Men’s this past week.

The earlier announced collaboration between Converse and Bedwin & The Heartbreakers on the Jack Purcell sneaker is about to be released. The low top sneaker comes in a premium black leather version with special Bedwin metal applications and logo tag on the tongue. Look out for a release of the sneaker early January 2011.
