We have a soft spot for Tokyo label Bedwin. Their tag-on “& The Heartbreakers” name helps keep them in our Johnny Thunders/Tom Petty riddled minds, while the “paramount quality” garment output keeps us pushing their goods. This “Adams” straw hat is a simple piece, with little to set it apart from similar headwear, but knowing Bedwin are behind it gives us faith. Also available in black and brown.

Japanese label Bedwin & The Heartbreakers shot over a look at their new charity tee, designed to help support their recovering country. Yes, there are better ways to help than a t-shirt, but producing and selling a t-shirt for charity is somewhat better than sitting around on the internet hating on things. Right?

Today we take another more detailed look at the next chapter of the BBU Project, a collaboration between Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, Undefeated, Beauty & Youth and adidas Originals. This time around they present the Superstar Vin “BBU” sneaker. It comes in a navy canvas version with white stripes and toe cap. The logos of all involved brands are placed on the cork footbed. The white outer sole and matching leather laces are the final premium touches.

Along with the sneakers, there will be an entire capsule collection, featuring t-shirts, sunglasses, socks and shorts. The entire pack will be released May 1st, 2011.

Once again Japanese magazine Sense presents The Black Sense Market, a series of product collaborations with fellow Japanese brands, with all product coming exclusively in black and is only sold through The Black Sense Market website.

This season they teamed up with visvim, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, mastermind JAPAN and Tenderloin, with more to follow. Currently the visvim collaboration is certainly the most interesting, offering pants, a jacket, a backpack and shoes.

You can expect the product to release in the coming months.

Under the collaborative BBU Project, Beauty & Youth by Untited Arrows, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers and Undefeated once again join forces to create an adidas sneaker, after having released a Stan Smith around the same time last year.

The adidas Superstar Vin “BBU” comes in a navy canvas colorway with white leather stripes and heel tab. Once again a really clean looking sneaker that is easy to match to to wear in general. Look out for a release soon.

Garbstore gets together with Bedwin & The Heartbreakers to collaborate on a messenger bag for Spring/Summer 2011. The black canvas bag comes with a white print detail and small red logo tag, while otherwise staying really clean. Look out for a release of the bag soon at the Garbstore in London (storeguide). In an interesting collaboration deparment store Isetan Men’s has teamed up with Bedwin & The Heartbreakers on a small capsule suit collection. The elegant, yet casual suits come in dark grey. They offer two types of suits, one coming with 3/4 pants. The most interesting feature is for sure the inside pocket construction of the blazers, which feature dedicated pockets for credit cards, digital camera and everything else one could need on the go. The suits have been released at Isetan Men’s this past week.

We just presented the new Bedwin & The Heartbreakers Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. One of the highlights of the collection are the above desert boots. We like the upper construction. The boots come in three suede colorways and will release in the coming months.

Japanese brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers present their new Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook. The collection looks once again solid and consists of some nice outerwear, denim, shirts, t-shirts and accessories.

The earlier announced collaboration between Converse and Bedwin & The Heartbreakers on the Jack Purcell sneaker is about to be released. The low top sneaker comes in a premium black leather version with special Bedwin metal applications and logo tag on the tongue. Look out for a release of the sneaker early January 2011.
