Japanese retailer Bench At The Greene has produced a solid lookbook for Spring/Summer 2011. Featured in the lookbook are Timberland, Hash Browns, and actually mostly the Japan only Ben Davis Project Line, which we of course do not get outside of Japan.

G-Shock Japan keeps the collaborations coming. The latest one that we come across is with Ben Davis, a brand that has seen some nice progress in recent seasons, mainly due to the newly launched Ben Davis Project Line, which is unfortunately exclusive to the Japanese market.

Together with G-Shock they worked on the classic DW-5600 watch, kept it all in black and added their logo to the dial and of course also put it on the backlight of the display. The watch will be released March 22nd at Bench At The Greene.

Ben Davis has always been known for their staple goods, yet it took the Japanese market to take brand to the next level. With the Ben Davis Project Line they present a collection of reworked classics, adding new premium materials, cuts and styles to the classic of the regular line, building on the heritage of the brand. The outcome is great and works especially well in these times of an ever growing heritage inspired market place. The collection is now available from Cueve.

Workwear brand Ben Davis gets together with Medicom on 100% Bearbrick. The toy comes with a black upper, featuring a design that references founding dates and home of the Ben Davis brand. Look out for a release in December 2009.

We quickly checked out the official Ben Davis US website and judging from the pieces shown in their catalogue, we are guessing that the few looks that we show you here are actually from their Japan only collection, which is of course not surprising. Heritage looks from the brand are taken and re-imagined, adding a nice casual flavour. The outcome is a vest, pants, as well as a blazer. We like the look of the pieces, mixing classic colors with the more popping red accents. Look out for a release in Japan in the coming weeks. Via honeyee.
