Today we can give you a look at the Fall/Winter 2009 Collection of Benny Gold. Once again the San Francisco based designer presents a solid line-up of t-shirts. Also the Doughboy New Era Caps have returned this season, along with a new 5-panel cap as well. Atlas has the new season in stock now.

For 2010 Mash SF once again worked with Cinelli on a bike. Benny Gold was again in charge of design and gave the bike an updated green look for the new year. The custom paint and frame stickers are meant to resemble the shape of the Mash lighting bolt and give the bike a feeling of speed. Cinelli will continue to offer the classic color as well as the new color option. The bike is being previewed at the Interbike show this week.

With the Interbike tradeshow happening this week here is the first look at a two tone rim that Benny Gold worked on with Velocity. The collaborative rim are getting debuted at the tradeshow this week.He kept the rims classy but still unique to what is already available. They all come with a gold colored aluminum card and custom sticker. The black section of the card is chemically etched into the metal. Each card has the set number stamped directly into the metal.

Benny Gold continues to expand his product line with a set of custom patterned argyle socks. The designer’s signature paper plane flight pattern is woven into an athletic sock in two colorways – black/grey/orange and black/grey/teal. Benny says “these are good to go for a little extra pop under your outfit and strong enough to ride your bike or board with.” To be honest, they great. Wouldn’t mind seeing more small brands getting involved in the sock game.

Taking a rebranding assignment under his wing, Benny Gold whipped up a set of clean, simple graphics for the new Desired Hearts collection. Four different shirts were designed overall and are now available – with the exclusive colorway of the Heart of Gold shirt up at BennyGold.com in a limited run of 79.

Benny Gold worked with Desired Hearts on their new logo and first collection. Amongst several Benny Gold designed images, the range includes a collaborative “Heart of Gold” t-shirt complete with signature glider plane. Pictured above is an exclusive shop.bennygold.com colorway that features a metallic silver drop shadow. The online exclusives are limited to 79 (gold atomic number) and will be available Monday.

Benny Gold offers a look into a collaborative project with fellow Bay area label Rebel8. The graphics combine of Mike Giant’s amazing hand styles with familiar sayings and images from Benny Gold’s work. Both Rebel8 and Benny Gold will drop different online exclusive shirts at their respective web stores this week. There will also be one additional t-shirt released to retail on November 1, 2009 alongside a New Era cap in two colorways. For his new season, Benny Gold updated the color options and created a new paper airplane buffalo plaid for the classic Doughboy fitted. Originally released over a year ago, this hat is inspired by Ice Cube’s character from Boyz in the Hood and as such is kept real gangster with satin lining on the black hat, and a khaki material that has the same feel as a fresh pair of Dickies. These hats will be shipping to stores with the Benny Gold Fall/Winter 2009 Collection.

Benny Gold has released some of his Japan exclusive product in his online store, making it available for worldwide followers of the brand. The colorways of the keychains, skate wax, t-shirts and glider plane candles are exclusive to the online store and not available anywhere else.  Each product is limited to 79 pieces, which stands for the gold periodic number.

For Fall 2009 Benny Gold is introducing new 5-panel camp caps into his collection. The caps come in black and red custom printed fabric with gold eyelet details and tags. A few matching accessories will also be released, but more on that later.
