For his new season, Benny Gold updated the color options and created a new paper airplane buffalo plaid for the classic Doughboy fitted. Originally released over a year ago, this hat is inspired by Ice Cube’s character from Boyz in the Hood and as such is kept real gangster with satin lining on the black hat, and a khaki material that has the same feel as a fresh pair of Dickies. These hats will be shipping to stores with the Benny Gold Fall/Winter 2009 Collection.

Benny Gold has released some of his Japan exclusive product in his online store, making it available for worldwide followers of the brand. The colorways of the keychains, skate wax, t-shirts and glider plane candles are exclusive to the online store and not available anywhere else.  Each product is limited to 79 pieces, which stands for the gold periodic number.

For Fall 2009 Benny Gold is introducing new 5-panel camp caps into his collection. The caps come in black and red custom printed fabric with gold eyelet details and tags. A few matching accessories will also be released, but more on that later.

A year in the making, we can give you a look at the final Mash SF x Cinelli bike frame, which was designed by Benny Gold. The frame looks very solid and comes in a grey scale color combination. Details include custom crest designs by Benny Gold. More info and images of the frame follow here.

In commemoration of the 3rd Anniversary of Japan’s Common Magazine, American designer Benny Gold hooked up a set of argyle patterned keychains. The leather used to produce this product is the same quality you find on the soles of high end dress shoes, meaning it’s built to last and characterize with age. Handmade in Japan, these keychains were produced in a limited run of 79 (the atomic weight of gold.) The red, black and navy colors shown here will be available exclusively on BennyGold.com next month. Three other colors will be released in Japan through Common Magazine.

Highsnobiety columnist Benny Gold worked on a number of designs for the Carhartt Europe brand. Overall, a great set of graphics mixing the familiar Benny Gold aesthetic with classic Carhartt logos and slogans. There is currently no set release date, but expect these to hit Carhartt Europe retailers in the near future.

As some of you might know, the Mash SF bike crew spend some time in New Zealand recently. Just like their logo, the New Zealand Tour Tee for the trip was also created by Benny Gold. The t-shirt comes in a black/red colorway. We are not sure if it will actually be released.

We present you the new Benny Gold Summer 2009 Collection. The San Franciso designer presents a strong line-up of graphic t-shirts, including a collaboration with Mash SF, the fixed gear crew. Furthermore the paper plane returns onto caps. A couple of seasons ago we seen them as 5-panels, as part of the Summer 2009 line they come now on New Era caps.

Benny Gold stays true to his paper airplane graphics and after presenting the candles, he now gives us a preview of the skate wax. Coming in different colorways, the skate wax will become available in the near future.

Benny Gold is known for his glider plane graphic, which does not only come in the form of stickers since many years, but also appeared on a few New Era Caps and t-shirts from his clothing line. Today we give you a first look at the Glider Plane Candle. The candle does not only look like the plane, but is also built up exactly like a classic balsa wood glider plane and features the “Stay Gold” slogan embossed. Look out for a release soon.
