Big-O, founder of Swagger and Phenomenon, celebrated his birthday last night. One of the presents he got, was a birthday cake of the upcoming Swagger x Nike Terminator Hi collaboration. The sneakers will be released in Japan in July, so more on that soon. Via Mademoiselle Yulia.

Previously we showed you the new Hectic collection, which we liked, but at the same time it did not offer anything special or unexpected. That is totally different from the new Roc Star Autumn/Winter 2008 collection that we present you here.
We are impressed and can safely say, that it is the strongest Roc Star collection that we have seen to date. The brand got known outside of Japan and mainly in Europe, due to a series of Ed Banger and So_Me collaborations. Also they are very well known for their crazy and bright graphics. They still offer that this season on a series of t-shirts and cut & sew, but added a good part of solid and more subtle cut & sew as well. The mix makes the outfit in the end.
Impressed we were also by some accessories in the new collection. The brands backpacks look great and also they will be introducing their first sneaker, which looks a lot like a Nike Blazer High with velcro straps.
Last but not least they also worked with Phenomenon this season on some collaborative product.

Japanese brand Swagger has released some more interesting items out of their Fall/Winter ‘07 collection recently. They continue with their Porter collaboration and have now come out with a technical backpack. At the recent tradeshows in Vegas we had the pleasure of seeing the Porter collaboration pieces live and in terms of quality they are simply outstanding. The Swagger camouflage design also looks good on them. Next to the technical backpack they also just released the matching basketball case.
In terms of clothing new hoodies, t-shirts and denim dropped. Our favorite pieces was this plaid hoodie – simple and on point. After the jump also some fresh new sunglasses releases by the Japanese brand.

Here we give you a complete preview of the new Autumn/Winter 2007 collection of Japanese brand Swagger – Dynasty. The brand has gotten a lot more attention outside of Japan this past year, but still it is very hard to come across, let’s hope that will change this season.
The new collection has several themese to it. Some are more loud and colorful, but in general we welcome that the collection got less crazy and offers some great basics. Especially the leather jackets this season are great. Also they extended the Porter collaboration and now offer for A/W ‘07 two collections of Porter collaboration pieces in two different camouflage colorways. They have in general nice accessories like keychains, belts and Swagger logo USB sticks.
