Fixed Gear London has built a Vans bike. The bike comes in matt black with shiny black accents, which turned out really nice. Most of the bike features the signature Vans check pattern, which thanks to the black on black design does not come out too strong. The bike is now on display at the Vans Store in London.

Univ For Ellsworth Bike Collaboration | The Moment

univ for ellsworth front Univ For Ellsworth Bike Collaboration | The Moment

Introducing the UNIV for Ellsworth Moment Mountain Bike. This collaboration is an extremely limited run of the most versatile full suspension bike. The concept for the UNIV for Ellsworth Moment was to create a detail-oriented, full-suspension street shredder with maximum flare, in contrast to the trend of simplistic throwback re-issues that are now commonplace in street culture. UNIV brings a coastal influence and laid-back outlook to the project, making it a high tech mountain bike for the street. UNIV and Ellsworth worked together for months on the building of the bike and all specifications are to suit the limited collaboration project. The bike had been in discussion for a long time as both brands are located near each other in North San Diego County California. Only six of these bikes will be made and will retail for more than $5000.

The frame and components are 100% made in USA at the Ellsworth facility in Vancouver, Washington. Featuring 6″ of rear travel and Ellsworth’s proprietary Instant Center Tracking suspension, the Moment is the one bike that can go anywhere and do anything.

Geekhouse Bikes Powder Coating Graphics

highsnobiety - Geekhouse Bikes Powder Coating Graphics
Not too long ago one would already set oneself apart by riding a fixed gear bike. These days even traditional media picked up the worldwide trend and with that, one has to find new ways to set apart ones bike. Geekhouse introduces their new powder coating graphic option.
"They’ve mastered a process that can basically take any digital image and sublimate it into a powder coated finish. This "Rockcity" frame was made for a customer who wanted a bandanna-like orange paisley design—not our first choice of graphics but dope nonetheless. It also features a matching front Deep-V rim that was also given the same patterned treatment." Via Animal.
Definitely a good idea and something many people will be making use of. The only problem with such an option is, just like with something like Nike iD, people with bad taste also get to use it. But overall definitely a nice move.
Have a more detailed look at the bike after the jump.
