Billabong sent the Spring 2012 Surf Capsule Collection and their girls surf team to the Maldives. Great imagery and beautiful scenes that simply make us want to skip the winter. Check out the video here below.

Billabong has developed an exclusive fabric called Eco-Supreme Suede, a recycled and recyclable pure polyester fiber material with superior quality, function and performance made from recycled textiles and plastic soda bottles. This helps lessen our dependence on oil, reduces toxic emissions from incinerators, and conserve resources. This contributes in less contamination, cleaner air, soil and water.

The surf brand got together with Washington boutique Commonwealth to collaborate on the Recycler Series board shorts, using the fabric described above. The tiger stripe camouflage pattern, also called Cmonflauge, came out really nice and not too strong. We also like a lot the branding, including tags and patches on the shorts. About 10 recycled 12oz. plastic bottles are used per short. Look out for a release soon, exclusively at Commonwealth and Commonwealth.com.

In time for summer Crooks & Castles presents their new board shorts. The “Valet” board shorts feature a car key all over print and pretty much all your favorite cars are represented. The Crooks & Castles Board Shorts are now available at In4mation.

LA’s Crooks & Castles got together with Billabong to work on some boardshorts. The boardshorts feature a Crooks all-over print with trademark graphics. They are now available in the Crooks & Castles flagship store in Los Angeles.
