Paris retailer BlackRainbow presents their Spring/Summer ‘11 lookbook as photographed by Guillaume Lechat in their Paris neighbourhood, le Marais.

A good chill day under Paris’ sun, so you can see our favorite spots : “le marché des enfants rouges” (”the red children market”), Charlemagne’s Playground, “chez Angela”, the 3rd District City Hall Square… Some spots that you should definitely visit when in Paris !

Black Rainbow from Paris has teamed up with DROM Fragrance to produce their first scented candle, entitled “Senteur n°00″. Having worked with Gucci, Pucci, Dior and other high fashion houses before, DROM seemed like the perfect partner for Black Rainbow.

“Taking the concept of the raw and industrial feel of the store, the Parisian creative workshop “DROM Fragrance” wanted to underline that varnish, the plaster, the fresh wood, the debris and the dust of the shop. As if the smell of a work site would ever become synonymous with a noble impression, they enhanced it with notes of wood and a fruity smell. Using to that effect a balanced blend of Cedar wood, notes of leather, tonka beans, musk and a smoky effect.

We might as well tell you right away, the 00 candle BLACK RAINBOW is a delicate and subtle one. This is not a heavy and nor an omnipresent signature. The smell threads between spaces and recalls the universe in which the shop and its team revolve around. A signature, that of the 68 rue des Archives.”

The candle is exclusively available from Black Rainbow in Paris.

Our friends from Black Rainbow have moved shop in Paris. Their new location opened its doors this past weekend. After having been stuck in the mix of many other brands for the past couple of years, they decided to take the independent route again, this time location at Rue des Archives in the heart of the Marais district of Paris.

The interior is unique to say the least. From plywood furniture to toilet seats, the new shop is certainly an eyecatcher. As usual you will find a nice selection of goods in the shop, ranging from brands such as Benny Gold to Oakley, Medicom Toys, Supra and more. Make sure to pass by on your next Paris visit.

Our friends from BKRW Paris have send over some pics of the first delivery of their Fall 2009 Collection. Next to some solid raw denim and a very nice new striped shirt, they also present the 3rd edition of the Black Rainbow Varsity Jacket. This time they went with a black/black colorway with colorful accents and collar, but the jacket overall keeps a subtle appearance.

The BKRW celebrations continue and today they present a collaboration t-shirt withbasketball inspired brand UNDR-CRWN. On the front the t-shirt features theUNDR-CRWN "World Champions" design in BKRW colors and on the back it featuresthe slogan "Its A Celebration Bitches" and the BKRW logo.
The t-shirt is now exclusively available in the Black Rainbow online store.

French magazine BKRW will be launching a series of collaborations, starting next week. They worked with some of your favorite brands on t-shirt collaborations, all uniting iconic graphics by the brand with the BKRW colors and logo.
Overall there will be 9 collaboration t-shirts, a new one dropping every day of the week exclusively at the Blackrainbow online store. They start off right away with one of streetwear’s strongest – with 10.Deep.

Black Rainbow from Paris will finally be launching their online store. Today between 10am and 12pm the store will go online and offer their entire product catalogue online.

French online magazine Black Rainbow (BKRW) is celebrating their first anniversary and for the occasion they made their very own varsity jackets. The jacket has a black base and white leather sleeves. Pretty much everywhere it features small embroideries, each standing for something that the 3 founders wanted to get out there.
The jacket is limited to 50 pieces. 3 jackets will be given away to people that can answer 5 questions, that will be put online this afternoon. Keep a close eye on BKRW and you might be one of the lucky ones.
