Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer has just received a new velcro Blazer AC High LE in a Dark Cinder colorway. Supple tumbled leather is set off by camel accents and the now commonly seen tonal Swoosh we’ve come to enjoy.

Nike’s classic basketball shoe, born in 1972, drops for holiday 2009 in 10 brilliant colors. The design is kept quite simple with monochrome make ups in vivid colors. Material wise, we see a grid patterned upper with mesh lining and patent Swoosh across all styles. A street staple for both men and women. Now in at NSW Japan.

From the Nike Holiday 2009 Collection a new Carbon Fiber Blazer High has been released. Rather than just using the carbon fiber look as an accent, Nike has given the Blazer High a complete carbon fiber look on the upper. The Swoosh comes in clean white leather and the sole is light grey. The sneaker is now available from Standard.

Another solid Blazer has dropped from the Nike Holiday 2009 Collection. The Blazer Low AC comes with 3 velcro straps on the black upper and features a strong purple Swoosh. The sneaker is now available from Sneakerpolitics.

The Nike Blazer Mid ‘09 comes as part of the Holiday 2009 Collection in three new tonal colorways – red, pink and purple. The sneakers come with a leather/grid upper, contrasting mesh lining and tonal patent leather Swoosh. The pack is now available from Limited EDT.

From the Nike Holiday 2009 Collection comes the Blazer AC High LE in two colorways. The high top sneaker features 5 velcro straps and comes in varsity red/black and medium grey/black, both featuring a mix of leather and patent leather on the upper. The sneakers are now available from Mischief.

Another Blazer High comes as part of the Nike Tier Zero program, this time the Blazer High V Lux. The sneaker comes with an all premium black leather upper and 5 velcro straps. This version of the classic sneaker has more of a fashion styling and thus might not be something for the purists among you. It will be available soon at Limited Edition Vault.

Following the low cut Velcro Lux Blazers that dropped earlier this year, Nike is gearing up to release a Tier 0 high-top for Holiday 2009. Featuring a 5-strap closure system, the upper is composed of premium black leather, with subtly-contrasting cracked black leather on the Swoosh and heel tab. Scheduled for a December 1st release at Tier 0 Nike accounts.

Acronym worked with Nike on a capsule collection of sneakers. Working within Acronym’s aesthethic the shoes are done in all-black with a mix of premium leather and wool, while embossed Acronym logos replace Nike logos in several locations. Stay tuned for more on one of the most exciting sneaker releases in some time!

UPDATE: We just got word from Nike that these sneakers are one-offs and were given as a personal gift to Errolson Hugh, head designer of Acronym. Sorry guys, but you will not be getting your hands on these.

Another Blazer Mid comes from the Nike Tier 0 range. This time the mid top sneaker comes in premium leather in a curry brown tone. The Swoosh is once again perforated, just like we have seen on quite a few recent releases in the Tier 0 Collection. The sneaker will be available from Limited Edition Vault as of November 2nd.
