Bleu de Paname Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Today we present the new collection of Paris brand Bleu de Paname. Staying perfectly in line with their brand philosophy, they present a collection that takes its inspiration from the past. While they stick to their signature blue color for the most part, we do enjoy the introduction of the new tan color and also some brown pieces. The corduroy pieces look very nice as well this season.

Bleu De Paname Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We present the new Bleu de Paname Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The French brand, in the meantime known for their artisanal production techniques and heritage look, sticks to the colors and style that we are used to see from them. We especially like the blue cotton pants and shirts from the collection, perfect to roll up and a nice relaxed fit. Of course the line as usual also sports lots of denim pieces in different washes.

“In 1902, two journalists in Paris, Arthur Dupin and Victor Morris, starts calling “les Apaches” the petty criminals and thugs of the Rue de Lappe and pimps of Belleville, which differ from the underworld and criminals by their style appearances. Originating from the upper districts of eastern Paris,as Ménilmuche (Ménilmontant) or Belleville, they invest at night the Bastille district or Mouff (Mouffetard’s street). The Apaches travel in groups, with accoutrements that enable them stand out: semi-open jacket over a rumpled shirt, pants tall concealing a 22’s blade, scarf and cap screwed over a shaved neck.”

Bleu de Paname Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

We take a closer look at still rather young french brand Bleu de Paname’s new Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Inspired by goods with heritage, the brand offers a selection of jackets, shirts, shorts, t-shirts a denim this season. The lookbook is styled in an interesting way, always perfectly matching the materials and looks of the pants and the top. Not really something we are very much into, but individually the collection definitely has some great pieces.

Young French brand Bleu de Paname has positioned itself as a premium heritage brand and continues on that path for Fall/Winter 2009. Their new collection concentrates on the basics, consisting a solid offering of shirts, jackets, knitwear, as well as denim.
