Forum Snowboards, Special Blend Outerwear and prestigious streetwear brand The Hundreds have joined forces to create a one-of-a-kind, mid-season release Forum snowboard aptly named “The Hundreds Board” and a co-branded snowboard jacket and pant based off two best selling Blend outerwear pieces. A first time collaboration with any snow brand for The Hundreds, these limited edition pieces will be available this Fall 2008 only in select Forum/Special Blend and The Hundreds dealers, as well as The Hundreds two retail locations in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The Hundreds Board is based off the in-line twin-tip Destroyer, known as Forum’s benchmark for freestyle progression, but with a softer flex. Offered in three sizes (148, 152 and 156), this exclusive deck features a black topsheet with The Hundreds signature design UV-coating, and three unique base graphics created by  Bobby Hundreds.
In addition, Special Blend created a co-branded jacket and pant with The Hundreds that are based off two best selling pieces, the tech light insulated Gunner Jacket and Battery Pant. Images and detailed information on the clothing will follow soon.

We present you yet another interesting art deck by FTC Tokyo. This time they got together with artist Shun Kawakami of artless Inc. The board features a nice piece of art that uses both sides of the deck.
It is now available at Scene.

UNIV is pleased to announce a snowboard collaboration with Signal Snowboards. Manufactured in partnership at Signal’s “The Lodge” Factory in California, USA. The graphic was created by UNIV and depicts a classic ski mountain scene, taking it back to a time snowboarding was more innocent than today.

The board is 155 cm long with a waist of 24.6 cm and effective edge of 118 cm. The board has a soft flex, poplar/aspen blend Hyper-core, biaxle glass weave, carbon stringer, twin shape, centered stance, Duel-Independent sidecut, and sintered base. The UNIV and Signal snowboard is built as a more medium flex park board made to handle large jumps and high speed landings.

UNIV has been a longtime friend of Signal founder and legendary pro snowboarder Dave Lee and were honored to work with him on this project. The The UNIV and Signal board is available now exclusively at The UNIV Concept Shop in Encinitas, California and online at robustflavor.com.

After giving you the first scoop of the project during Bread & Butter a couple of weeks ago, we now give you the full run-down of the JB Classics x Ride Snowboards collaboration project.

The collection consists of JB Classics sneakers and t-shirt as well as Ride snowboard, bindings and boots. The two hook you up for on and off the runs. All products come with double branding and with the signature red colorway of this collaboration.

Burton Snowboards and Kidrobot today unveiled their limited-edition collaborative snowboard, the Burton Kidrobot Custom Plus. The inaugural collaboration between the companies has been over a year in the making and involved collaboration among multiple artists and snowboard designers.
Based on the platform of a Burton Custom 158cm snowboard, the Burton Kidrobot Custom Plus began as a blank canvas for Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz to play with. The result is a whimsical and colorful board with a topsheet graphic that features Kidrobot’s iconic “Kidrobot head” character and a base graphic that depicts a collage of well-known Kidrobot characters including the Dunny, Smorkin Labbit and Icebot. Artists whose characters appear on the board include Paul Budnitz, Frank Kozik, Dalek, Tilt, Sket One and more.
The Burton Kidrobot Custom Plus marks the first time Kidrobot has collaborated on a snowboard. Paul Budnitz had this to say about the organic process with which Burton and Kidrobot joined forces, “Greg Dacyshyn, Burton SVP and Creative Director, and I are fans of each other’s work.  When we met, we totally hit it off. A collaboration was necessary - it wasn’t even a question.”
Likewise, Greg Dacyshyn was equally stoked on the project, “I have always been a toy collector…you’re never too big to play with toys. I really love what Kidrobot does. They have an amazing design sensibility, and it really works well with what we do here at Burton.  I look forward to working on more projects with them in the future.”
The Burton Kidrobot Custom Plus is being produced in super limited quantities and will be available at Burton and Kidrobot flagship stores and at very select snowboard retailers. Please stay tuned for additional Burton and Kidrobot limited edition product in the very near future.
