Reebok and Boston boutique Bodega (storeguide) continue to work together into 2011 with collaborative AXT and Night Sky make ups. At this point we don’t have any information beyond what you can gather from the images, but we’ll go on record and say that these are two of the best looking Reebok’s we’ve seen in quite some time.

Avid readers will already know that Boston retailer Bodega and Palladium got together on a pair of ‘Baggy’ Boots.

Bodega and heritage boot brand Palladium have joined forces on a version of Palladium’s signature ‘Baggy’ boot, just in time for the cold season. The ‘Fisticuffs’ boot features a herringbone pattern on the upper and rich chocolate leather, harkening back to the formal dress of the Victorian gentleman. ‘Fisticuffs’ is slang dating back to England’s Victorian era when gentlemen settled their differences in hand to hand duels. ‘Back then, people were polite, even when they were about to throw fists at each other’ said Barney Waters of Palladium, himself an Englishman. ‘When things got rough, there was still a formality and etiquette to the occasion. There were rules of conduct. This boot is the same way; it’s ready to get down and dirty, but the materials are of high quality, allowing it to be dressed up’. Dan from Bodega added, “Scattered throughout the boot are subtle details relating back to this theme because let’s face it boots are meant to kick ass. As a store we’re always looking to diversify our brands and Palladium was an obvious choice. From a retail stand point it’s a great looking product with that important mix of quality fabrication, well considered materials, heritage, and value.”

The Bodega ‘Fisticuffs’ boot features premium leathers for the vamp and a contrasting herringbone material for the upper. The wool lining, comfort foot bed and gusset tongue make it the essential boot for the fall/winter season. Bodega created a custom logo for the boot, which is laser etched onto the leather tongue. Each pair of boots will be individually numbered, with only 350 pairs being available globally.

The five lucky winners of the Gentleman’s Pack lottery will get a ‘Essentials kit’ from around the World. It includes a classic French Opinel pocket knife, a Japanese Straight Edge Nail Clipper from Seki, a British badger hair shaving brush and shaving soap from E Shave, and a classic steel razor from Merkur of Germany, as well as other Bodega essentials. These boots will release on November 6, 2010.

As part of their respective Fall/Winter 2010 Collections, Boston boutique Bodega and Penfield have collaborated on the popular Kasson jacket.

“Serving as the centerpiece of Bodega’s Autumn / Winter 2010 Collection is a special make up of the Penfield Kasson Parka. Retooled for the harsh New England winters, the Bodega Edition Kasson Parka features a thick wool body, Hudson waxed canvas upper and brushed flannel lining. Various details are hidden through the piece, most notable the thermometer zipper pull. Styled for Town and Country applications, the piece has been limited to 100 pieces aill be available Saturday October 23at Bodega as well as SNS in Sweden, and Uptown Deluxe in Japan.

Both Bodega and Penfield were founded in Massachusetts. Following Bodega’s recent Vans project, as well as Penfield’s work with Gitman Bros & Stussy , the vanguard of American style is further unified with these collaborations.”

After a small teaser last week, we can give you a detailed preview of the collaboration between Boston boutique Bodega and Palladium on the iconic Baggy Boot. The gave the boot the name “Fisticuffs” and gave it a premium suede/herringbone upper, as well as a warm wool lining. Individually numbered and limited to 396 pairs, the boots will be released at Bodega on November 6th.

The highly anticipated Vans Vault x Bodega “Real Tree” Chukka LX will finally release on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11am. Featuring soft nubuck leather, work boot laces and licensed “Real Tree” camouflage lining, the Bodega Chukka’s simple design works well for the season. But that’s not all. Bodega will also be releasing three other “Real Tree” accessories to coincide with the project – a Buck 50 utility knife, a Zippo lighter, and a beverage coozie, all of which will be sold individually. The sneakers are limited to 150 units.

After a first announcement a while back, we can give you a detailed look at the collaboration between Puma, Bodega and size?, celebrating the UK retailers 10th anniversary. They worked on a double pack of the Puma Blaze of Glory and result is pretty good. Premium leather, mesh and perforated suede make up the upper, which details set on the heel and tongue in the form of special collaboration tags. The speckled mid-sole is a nice finish. Look out for these to release soon.

Next up in the 10th anniversary collaboration line-up of UK retailer size? is a pack of the Puma Blaze Of Glory together with Boston retailer Bodega. The sneaker comes in two very solid colorways with speckled mid-sole, leather/mesh upper and some nice branding. All in all a very interesting looking pack, which will release on September 18th.

Bodega Boston has customized 50 pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor Hi’s and produced 100 matching t-shirts. The Chuck Taylors are given out for FREE today at the Boston store. The t-shirts are given out for free next Tuesday, all in support of the Celtics. I guess one can say, that it is definitely worth passing by Bodega today!
