One of the most anticipated Reebok dual label sneaker projects is set for release on May 31st at Bodega(6 clearway St./Boston).

Designed by Bodega, the Escape Pack was inspired by the renegade, borderline legal, semi-dangerous, insanely cheap, revolutionary, independently run bus lines that link Boston’s Chinatown to NYCs Chinatown.
 
Retailing for $200(USD),  the pack includes everything you need to escape to another city for an overnight excursion. An exquisitely designed Reebok Omni Pump Lite is the centerpiece of the project featuring a luminous jade and charcoal color-way detailed with a map of the route embossed on the ankle collar. A matching 5-panel cap by "ELM" and tee are also included in the pack. Various essentials including, but not limited to, mix-tapes, rolling, papers, paint markers, and good luck charms round out the contents of this extremely limited release. Only 100 Escape packs have been produced. Within ONE of the packs is a GOLDEN TICKET upgrade. The lucky winner of the upgrade will get airfare to anywhere in the continental US, as well as a suitcase filled with past limited releases from Reebok.

PUMA® introduces the PUMA x BDGA Spy II Hi, a special limited edition shoe featuring Mad Magazine’s classic Spy vs. Spy characters, created in collaboration with the magazine and Boston-based lifestyle boutique, Bodega.  

This limited edition shoe is based on PUMA’s classic Sky II Hi silhouette and is loaded with details inspired by the classic comic strip.  It features premium leather, translucent outsoles with the Spy characters underneath, a removable footbed complete with bullet holes, hidden messages, dynamite hangtags, and even a secret stash pocket holding a message to be decoded.

A very limited number of pairs will be released on February 23, 2008, which leaves you enough time to formulate your strategy on how to get your’s. They will be available at Bodega, Atmos, Classic Kicks, Alife, Premium Goods, Ubiq, Huf, Undefeated and Livestock.

Bodega and Dr. Romanelli continue their resurrection of classic vintage with the release of the Surgical Strike Collection.
The entire collection is individually crafted & sumptuously detailed from war tested American Military pieces secured from the northeastern regiments. Each jacket comes with a personalized prescription from the Doctor documenting the original military garment it was reconstructed from.
Working from the idea of evolving the classic silhouettes as source materials, this proves to be one of Dr. Romanelli’s most intricate endeavors.

Boston store Bodega has been behind some pretty impressive projects this past year, and more are to come. The store teams up with Puma and licensed the Spy vs. Spy cartoon for this latest project. The Puma Sky II Hi comes back as the Spy II Hi. Lots of nice details have been put into the shoe including morse code, bullet holes, dynamite swingtags and even a stash pocket. Via Sneaker Freaker.

The BODEGA X CONVERSE PURCELL and lumber jack fitted hat will be released internationally on Saturday November 17, 2007 exclusively at WOOD WOOD Copenhagen, WOOD WOOD Berlin, ACU Shanghi and BODEGA Boston. The Purcell sneaker has had a long history. It was originally designed by the athlete Jack Purcell and was first produced by BF Goodrich in 1935. Today, Converse has offered this classic silhouette for a very special collaboration with BODEGA for this limited edition Purcell Mid. The new sneaker will be specially packaged and feature distressed leather, flannel detailing and brass eyelets. In conjunction with the shoe BODEGA is also offering a matching fitted flannel cap.

A while ago we presented you the Bodega x Converse Jack Purcell Mid collaboration that will be dropping this winter season. It mixes brown premium leather with red plaid. Matching that release, the Boston store now got together with New Era to create these red plaid New Era caps. The cap features plaid all over and on the front a rather discrete gold Bodega Tree logo. There is no set release date so far, but you can expect both the sneakers and the cap to drop in November!

Here a little teaser from an upcoming sneaker collaboration between Puma, Bodega Boston and Mad Magazine. From this first pic it certainly looks like an interesting collabortion featuring Spy vs. Spy artwork. Once we know more we’ll let you know!

We just recently presented you an upcoming Bodega x Converse collaboration and now Sneaker Freaker is showing first pictures of a new Reebok Pump collab, by the Boston based store. The collaboration is themed around the Boston – NYC bus route.
“Evolving from small passenger vans to a fleet of state-of-the-art coaches operated from Boston’s South Station, the success of these independent bus lines has not been without controversy. Urban legends about racketeering, links to organized crime, torsos found in suitcases and really strange smells have been circulating since their inception. A recent spate of accidents hasn’t silenced the rolling thunder of these economy fleets either. Despite pictures of charred hulls of overturned coaches haunting the front pages of newspapers, ticket sales and the dominance of the Chinatown buses continues to grow.
