Just releases this week, Milton Crawford presents The Hangover Cookbook. We have all been there and it can certainly not hurt to get some refreshing recipes to ensure that your physical state gets better as quickly as possible.
“Everything you need to know to assess, understand, and improve a hangover is here: dozens of comforting recipes, very clever graphic tests for analyzing your state of mind, and quizzes for tracking your progress.
A good hangover brings its victim to a new state of mind—and one that, when looked at objectively, can be quite fascinating to its host: It can create an increased awareness of the body, a willingness to eat something usually off limits, and a fascination with the mind’s strange acrobatics. With P. G. Wodehouse’s six hangovers—The Broken Compass, The Sewing Machine, The Comet, The Atomic, The Cement Mixer, and The Gremlin Boogie—as a starting point, recipes are tailored to each specific malady, allowing the reader to find a recipe (or just a menu item) that precisely suits his state of mind . . . and body. Interspersed with the recipes are mind games, witticisms and graphic jokes, insights into hangover science, quizzes to see if you are still drunk or now just merely hungover, and more.”
A good addition to anybodies library and also a cool present, the book is now available from Amazon.

Selectism reports about the new book title “Cyclepedia: A Tour of Iconic Bicycle Designs”.
“This book documents the classics as well as the more forward designs (both good and bad, but mostly good) that has spanned the decades. Truth is, the fundamentals in bicycle design have remained the same for almost a century. How bike builders have built upon those fundamental is what makes cycling exciting. My favorite is the 1968 Duemila. From Thames & Hudson.”

The book also focuses on the highly sophisticated narrative structures found in McQueen’s collections and in his astonishing and extravagant runway presentations, which suggested the most avant-garde installation and performance art.”
The book has been authored by a strong list of people who know the designer best: “Andrew Bolton is Curator and Harold Koda is Curator in Charge at The Costume Institute, The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In an interesting collaboration OHWOW teams up with Supreme to present the latest chapter in OHWOW’s “Fuck This Life” series.
“For their first combined effort, OHWOW and Supreme teamed to present the third installment of OHWOW’s popular cult-publication FUCK THIS LIFE. The two iconic brands united to produce a printed collaboration between skateboarding veteran Jason Dill and artist Weirdo Dave, titled DILL WITH FUCK THIS LIFE. This latest image compilation delivers the same raw content, unapologetic attitude, and irreverent take on the humor of everyday headlines; DW/FTL maintains the classic Weirdo Dave aesthetic, accented with Dill’s twisted, but complimentary, contributions. A scrapbook, of sorts, DW/FTL reveals a grittily tinted world and the oddities of life seen from the duo’s distinct perspective.”
The book can now be purchased here.
