While Maharishi’s mainline remains a favorite, their footwear program remains hit or miss. The latest to step out of the firm is the “Sequoia.” Employing herringbone tweed ankle panels, the boot transforms from mid to high top. Maharishi has worked with Po-Zu to make these shoes completely organic. And, they are down to the box. As a mid, the shoe gives that vibe. The unstructured look and feel of organic footwear. Unlike some competition, the shaping is a little more robust, and the added ankle portions set it apart on the style front. Retailing for $255, it’s above the fray in price point as well.

Following an earlier release of a black/white version, the Vans Chukka Boot LX pony gets dressed for fall in this brown make up. Black and brown checker patterning around the heel cup off sets the simplicity of the brown suede toe. The tan sole is a nice touch as well, off setting from the upper just enough while keeping the hues closely knit. Available now from Fuctard.

Hardly any apparel company passes the opportunity to bring out a product with a Chinese theme, linked to the 2008 Olympics. The same holds true for Clarks, which brings their classic Wallabee boot, featuring a chinese dragon print. The upper turns out to look like traditional Chinese silk.

The Visvim Folk collection has been very well received ever since its inception, presenting interesting new materials and looks overall. After presenting the FBT as well as a couple of other models in a new Folk make-up the next two to be remixed are the Skynyrd Moc and the Gridwood Boot. Via Hypebeast.

We present you a nice Japan exclusive New Balance shoe – the TX 755. More casual and less sporty than what we usually see from the brand, New Balance breaks into a new market with the TX 755. It comes with a black premium suede upper, white midsole and reminds us a little of the Wallabee.
Know It Nothing in Singapore has them in stock now in black and sand. They go for 219 USD.

Japanese brand Victim once again got together with New Balance to work this time on the H574, a boot which is based on the iconic 574. The shoe comes in premium brown leather on the upper and features some mesh around the ankle. The Victim logo only seems to appear on the inner sole. Via Unbar.

Adidas teamed up with the Chinatown Soccer Club, a collective that formed during the first installment of the three-stripes’ “Fanatic Tournament” around photographer Peter Sutherland and they worked on a limited edition lifestyle soccer boot called the Top Sala. It comes in black with red details and their logo is featured in gold.
The low-run (350 were made in total) sneaker, will be reserved for retail spots like Dave’s Quality Meat (NYC), Arkitip (LA) and Stil Laden (Vienna, Austra) and will release early June. Via Complex.

Japanese premium footwear label Cause has released their Moccasin Boot-01. The premium leather shoe comes in a mid size and features nice bold stitching, just like you are used from a classic moccasin. It is available in black and brown at Flauge and perfect for the summer. 
It reminds us a little of the new Visvim FBT Folk, also featuring a thing white sole.

One of the most interesting new releases as part of the new Neighborhood Spring/Summer 2008 collection is the Redwing boot collaboration. We could not imagine a better brand for Neighborhood to collaborate with.

As the first shoe of the new year Ubiq presents a winter boot of the classic kind. The Carphill is inspired by a classic hiking boot and is sort of a premium version of that. It comes in brown leather, and black and beige suede. The simple aesthetic looks really nice and if you want a quality winter boot that also performs when it gets a little more rough, then this is the way to go!
