Bape has also released two new styles from their Fall 2009 footwear collection. The Simple Soldier boot comes in leather and suede and features an embossed Bape camo pattern all over. It is based off of a classic Red Wing boot. The Road Sta returns this season in new patent leather /metallic colorways. Overall the Bape Road Sta comes in 4 new colorways this weekend.

For Fall 2009, Timberland brings back one of their all time classics, the 8” Wheat Construction Boot. This timeless staple was a favorite of many hip-hop legends in the early 90’s with the likes of Jay Z, Notorious BIG and Nas all seen rocking the high top boots. The Chukka is one of our favorite styles from the Red Wing lifestyle collection. Now that the summer is once again over for most of us, we are looking for the perfect winter boot and the Chukka falls right into that category. It comes in beige suede, as well as different brown leather tones and goes with pretty much every look. The Red Wing Chukka is now available in three colorways from Tres Bien.

Some nice new product has been released from the Sophnet Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. A leather biker jacket comes in two colorways with a red satin lining. Furthermore they have released knitted scarves, denim with nice color accents on the zippers and a Buttero high cut boot in two colorways.

It should come as no surprise at this point that we here at Highsnobiety love collaborative Japanese hiking boot releases. The latest double-label hiker comes by way of Beauty & Youth and Italy’s Diemme Boots (who conveniently lack a website.) Whether or not you have a chance to see these in person, it’s easy to appreciate the rich deep leathers, striped laces and expert craftsmanship. All the standard trappings of a well-made mountain boot. These ones are kind of shiny.

A new premium version of the iconic Timberland 6″ Boot has been released. They’re crafted in premium waterproof leather with a seam-sealed construction to keep your feet dry, whatever the elements throw at you. Other nice details include a padded ankle collar and the Taslan fibre laces. The boots come in black, navy/brown and in brown/khaki and are now available from colette.

Following the low-cut Mountain Ridge release, Ships General Supply continue their collaborative work with Portland, Oregon’s Danner on the more commonly seen Mountain Light. For this season, Ships worked up two luxurious Cordovan leather models  - in black and brown – finished with no-mark Vibram soles, giving them somewhat of a dress shoe look. Very similar to what we saw last year, but you know they say; the classics never go out of style. Ships Jet Blue has them on pre-order for an October drop.

Japan’s Unused got together with Wisconsin-based Russell Moccassin on two styles of the laceless Knock About Boot. Coming in as part of Unused’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection, the boot is made up of beige/tan suede and is available either with or without a sheep skin lining. Now in stock at Noa’s Ark. As with all these Japanese retailers, a proxy is recommended.

A solid pair of new winter boots comes from Wanders Shoes. The Mocca Hi has been released in several colorways, features white leather laces and either white or gum soles. We prefer the thinner boat shoe sole to the more rugged one, but depending on the use, that one might be more appropriate. The boots are now available at Vulture.

It is impressive seeing Visvim enlarge their offering every season and Fall/Winter 2009 we have already seen lots of new footwear from the brand. Here is now a first look at the Decoy Duck Mid-Folk, Visvim’s version of the classic duck boot. It is another F.I.L. store exclusive and will be released on September 11th.
