To celebrate this season’s Opening Day, Major League Baseball is teaming with Vans Vault on an exclusive collection of sneakers. The first release to be revealed is a Boston Red Sox Authentic LX. Limited to only 12 pairs, the kicks will be available next Saturday, April 3rd at 11am, exclusively at Bodega. A matching Majestic Authentic Jersey accompanies the release. The next chapter of the Nike 1World campaign is about to launch. This time Nike worked with Japanese baseball player Daisuke Matsukaza on the Air Force 1.
The outcome is a white/orange Air Force 1, featuring white pony hair as well as orange exotic leathers. A dragon motive, very popular in Japanese culture, appears on the heel and on the inner sole. The dragon forms the number 18, his number with the Boston Red Sox.
