Every season the team behind the Bread & Butter Sport & Street area makes sure to treat their friends and family well. With the tradeshow celebrating their 10th anniversary these days, they wanted to top the previous product give-aways and created the ‘Desert Land’ Survival Kit.

Limited to only 150 sets, the kit includes a Herschel Supply backpack, SUPER sunglasses, Palladium boots, New Era cap, Incase laptop sleeve, pocket flask, Victorinox tool set, Happy Socks, Mag-Lite flashlight, Pony jersey, as well as some snacks, making sure that you will have everything you need, if stuck in a desert. All product has been especially made for the kit and will be given out to close friends of the show this week.

To mark the occasion of the 10th anniversary of BREAD & BUTTER, adidas Originals has created a special gift – a limited special edition of the iconic adidas Originals Decade Hi.

The sneaker was designed in the typical Berlin colours, supplemented with the distinctive B&B logo and an X representing the 10-year anniversary. A hangtag with the historic date and the inscription “ONE DECADE from adidas WITH LOVE” round off this special sneaker limited to 500 pairs.

The birthday sneaker will be available from Tuesday night at 15 selected fashion and sneaker retailers as well as at the “BBB for Charity” booth at the trade show. The retailer list includes: adidas Originals Store (Berlin), 14 oz (Berlin), No. 74 (Berlin), Solebox (Berlin), The Good Will Out (Cologne), Gross (Munich), Saint Cream (Hamburg), Glory Hole (Hamburg), Zapateria (Vienna), 6th Floor (Vienna), Titolo (Bern), Asphaltgold (Darmstadt) and Azita (Frankfurt).

In addition, one pair of the limited-edition Decade His will be raffled off on adidas.com/Originals. The adidas Originals x BBB Decade will be officially presented to the public for the first time on Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 at 10.25 am sharp – marking the 10th anniversary of BREAD & BUTTER and the 25th BREAD & BUTTER trade show.

Today the official release of the Bread & Butter “Sport & Street” x Clae Ramare Hi will take place at the tradeshow at 5:30. Only 100 pairs of the sneaker have been produced, with 10 going on sale to the public and the remaining 90 pairs being handed out to friends and family of the show. The outcome is a beautiful brown mid top, featuring subtle branding on the tongue and heel. Matching the sneakers they also present a New Era cap.

Bread & Butter is just around the corner and once again the biggest European fashion tradeshow ensures not to be confused with anybody else in this game. Their Sport & Street division collaborated for the upcoming show with Clae. The US footwear brand celebrates their 10th anniversary in 2011 and thus it was the perfect occasion for the two to get together. They chose the Romare Hi and took this season’s Bread & Butter Sport & Street “Winter Village” theme as inspiration. The outcome is a solid looking suede brown mid top sneaker with nice embroidery accents. The sneaker will be released next week, with only 10 of the overall 100 pairs being sold to the public.

Matching this beautiful sneaker, Bread & Butter “Sport & Street” also worked with New Era on an earflap version of their iconic 59Fifty fitted cap.  The cap features a wool green upper with patch embroidery and brown earflap.

WeSC got together with Bread & Butter tradeshow as part of their B&B for Charity Project. As part of the project they collaborated on the Maraca headphones. The headphones come in a black colorway with very subtle tonal branding. They will be sold next week for 3 days at special B&B charity booths with all proceeds going to charity.

Italian eyewear maker Super debuted a new frame for the recent Bread & Butter Berlin tradeshow. The RSF’s key design elements are a straight upper lip, and open bottom. Standard Italian construction and crystal clear lenses by Zeiss make for top notch quality. This brown tortoise shade was specially made for Bread & Butter Berlin. Only 180 pieces were made and have been individually numbered. Now available from Caliroots.

Last night the launch of the Bread & Butter x Asics GT Lyte II “Salmon & Butter” Pack took place at Firmament Berlin. BBB worked with Asics on the classic running sneaker and brought out a pack of two colorways. Salmon stands for Japan, the land of origin of the sneaker brand, and Butter stands for Germany, the location and home of Bread & Butter. Logically the sneakers also come in a salmon and a butter colorway, something rather unique and unseenbefore. On the heel you find a gold BBB Berlin embroidery and further details on the in-sole.

Bread & Butter is getting into the product game for this year’s Berlin edition. Together with New Era they present two 59fifty fitted caps. The caps were inspired by the US Air Force and are perfectly in line with the new tradeshow location, an old Berlin airport. The caps come in nav and in white with embroidery details on the brim and upper, along with some small print details. The caps will go on sale at the B&B For Charity stores in Berlin next week.

Once again Bread & Butter presents their Flearmarket, a line-up of some of the strongest from around the globe, selling their goods for bargain prices. Aside from good deals you will also be able to purchase special collaboration items and items from their archives. After starting the Fleamarket last season, we see an even stronger line-up of stores this time around in Berlin. The line-up includes Overkill, Firmament, Reed Space, Wood Wood, Norse, Azita, Starcow, LimitEditions and Freshcotton.

We return with another episode from Bread & Butter, produced once again by the good people from Flake TV. This time we talked to David Wilson, Creative Director of Kangol. Some of you might have heard of him already, as he is also behind the collaborations with Fragment Design, Alife and many others.

Jeff talked to David about the Kangol Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. They present some great new fleece pieces, made of high end Japanese fleece, as well as a Liberty of London collaboration capsule collection.
