As part of their soon to launch new bag collection, Brooks presents the Islington backpack. The backpack comes with a nice worn-in effect on the upper and has a roll top. The strapping system is both interesting and practical, making this certainly one of the nicest functional backpacks that we have come across to date.

“The colour scheme, as you can see, is understatedly worn-in, and there are no immediate plans for special editions in pink.” Good to know.

Vans approached renowned bike saddle maker Brooks to collaborate on a Vault project. As we’ve shown in the past, the result is a pair of leather Era LX sneakers (limited to 2000) and a Brooks Team Pro Saddle (limited to 500), both of which feature an embossed graphic designed by the Vans team. Only available in Vans flagship stores and selected BROOKS Dealers.

In our next episode of Highsnobiety TV we give you a recap of the Vans Vault Fall 2010 Footwear launch event, which took place last week at Soto Berlin. The collaborations with Pendleton, Taka Hayashi, Filson and Brooks were on display. We also talked to the Senior Creative designer of Vans Vault, Jon Warren, who gave us some nice backgrond information on their upcoming collaborations. Taka Hayashi also rolled through. Enjoy!

Last up for today from the Vans Vault line is their collaboration with Brooks Saddles for Fall 2010. They chose to work on the Era and also produced a matching saddle. The Era comes in really soft black premium leather, features embossed graphics on the tongue, which match the saddle, and has a dark brown leather heel tab. Earlier this week we gave you a first look at the Vans x Brooks collaboration that will be releasing as part of the Vans Vault Fall 2010 collection. There was some speculation as to whether the saddle was actually releasing, or just for show. Today at Bread & Butter Berlin, Brooks confirmed the rumors with an up close look at the matching saddle. The saddle comes in premium black leather with embossed skull and flower details. Available shortly, limited to 500 units.

Iconic saddle company Brooks has collaborated with Vans Vault on the Era LX. The Era LX comes in a premium black leather colorway with a few brown accents. As part of the same series Vans has worked with Filson and Pendleton, so you can look out for another two interesting collaborations.

Brooks has clearly established itself as the finest bike saddle company in the world and it sure looks like they want to keep it that way. In recent years we have seen several interesting limited edition versions of their iconic saddles, including a collaboration with Stussy. Here we show you now their new limited edition city colored saddles. As part of their celebration of various courier and bicycle polo events worldwide, Brooks has issued a set of limited edition colored saddles for their Swift and Team Pro models in runs of 250 units. Events in Boston, London, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Berlin are celebrated in blue, mustard, red, and mandarin orange.

Stussy Japan has uploaded a feature that has some great behind the scenes shots of the creation process in the Brooks factory of their upcoming Stussy collaboration saddle, that was designed by the Wilson Brothers.

A couple of weeks we first showed you the Stussy x Brooks Saddle, made by the Wilson Brothers for Stussy. Here is now a look at the final product. The saddle will be released in Japan on 8th of November. At this point we are not sure, when and if it will release outside of Japan. Let’s hope it does!

An interesting project is coming from the Wilson Brothers and Brooks. Brooks is one of the most famous quality bike saddler makers and known for their high quality standards. The Wilson Brothers have made some impressive bikes in recent years, so the partnership only made sense. Together with Brooks they produced a saddle for Stussy.
