A new initiative for Burton. A new canvas for the prolific Ron English. Burton Private Stock is a low run line aimed at 100 select retailers around the world. English’s collection, featuring two boards and a boot, is the first to roll out from the line. Cool Hunting caught up with Burton VP and Head of Design Greg Dacyshyn. Worth a gander. 

Coming from Burton AK this season is a nice new series of 15L Packs. Available in three colorways for Fall/Winter 2008, the pack offers all the technical details and specs that one could wish for, while still keeping the good looks. Certainly a reliable companion on and off the mountains.

Also for the new Fall/Winter 2008 season, Burton offers a nice selection of luggage, ranging from backpacks, travel bags to trollies, there is pretty much everything in the line-up. 
Also in terms of design, you can find anything from a classis black, red plaid to a crazy neon 80’s design in the collection, making sure you will find a match.

Burton started introducing a denim gore-tex series last winter season and continues this season. As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection they introduce a raw denim version of their snowboard suit, consisting of a jacket and matching pants. The raw denim turns out to look much nicer on the suit that the washed that they used lasttime around. 
You look like you are wearing a normal denim outfit, but have all the technical features than all the rest of the Burton collection, which is a pretty cool idea.

With much anticipation we have waited for the Carhartt x Burton Fall/Winter 2008 collection. For months images of the collection have been floating around the Internet and today we can show you some first pieces of the collection, as some stores in Japan got them in.
The Carhartt x Burton collection, fuses the workwear looks, cuts and philosophy of Carhartt with the technical know-how of Burton. A brilliant fusion, which results in jackets that look like a classic Carhartt jacket, but feature waterproof zippers, Gore-Tex and many other technical details.
Here we present you two complete outfits out of the collection, consisting of jackets and matching pants, in both beige/brown and black. On the chest, the jackets feature a Carhartt tag and on the lining both brand tags have been placed.
We are pretty sure, this is a collaboration by Carhartt Europe and Burton, which might mean, that it will not be released in the US. But we cannot confirm that yet. Images via Les Coureurs.

A couple of months ago we presented you the jacket that Chuck Anderson aka NoPattern had designed for Burton. He used his trademark light camouflage pattern on the jacket, giving it a very particular look.
The artist used the same graphic on several luggage pieces, including the above backpack. There will also be a series of smaller bags coming with the same pattern.
There is no set release date, but we will keep you posted!

Earlier this year we presented you the Burton x Futura snowboard, that will be releasing this Fall/Winter 2008 season. The NYC artist added his flavor to more pieces for the snowboard giant, including a series of clothing, featuring a forest camouflage pattern. Its crazy how a signature by the artist changes a product.
The series consists of an overall, and of snowboard underwear and will be released in the coming weeks at Burton flagship stores.

Burton continues their collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation and releases this Fall/Winter 2008/09 season a series of new snowboards, featuring the art of the famous artist.
Our favorite so far is definitely the cans design, as it is less hectic than all the others. Check out more images after the jump.

Recently Burton aquired DNA, the distribution company for Alien Workshop, Habitat and Reflex. Started in 1990 with just Alien Workshop, DNA has grown into a leader in full service skate distribution. From soft goods to trucks and grip tape, DNA moves it all.
Burton’s take over of DNA will play out in retail, as a skate lounge will now be added to Burton flagship stores. Hard goods and DNA apparel, designed by the likes of Rob Dyrdek and Arto Saari, add breadth to the offerings at Burton stores. A lounge is already in place at New York’s Soho location.

New from Burton’s ever growing and improving luggage collection is a set in muted  brown camouflage. Wheeled bags, a series of packs and a hip satchel are all represented. In all, there is something for every trip and task. (via ZOZO).
