William Gibson, always the fan of a faceless and logo-less product that exceeds all expectations; something timeless and classic that most across the world can relate to. Last week we showed you William Gibson’s Head Porter bags, and this week we give you a look at his new line of Athletic Shoes in collaboration with Buzz Rickson.

Available both in Low-Cut and High-Cut models, the sneakers are a fresh take on a classic shoe with a nod to military gear from the Buzz Rickson camp. The sneakers come in black and brown, with a mix of canvas and leather on the upper.

The Buzz Rickson & William Gibson Athletic Shoes are now available at Self Edge, in-store and online.

Head Porter, Japan’s most famous bag company comes together with Buzz Rickson (Sugar Cane) and William Gibson to bring us this new collection of bags. The fabrics used for the collection is nylon originally developed for military bulletproof vests, which is 5 times stronger than regular nylon fabric, and genuine horse leather made for Buzz Rickson’s A-2 jackets. Both bags come with a Porter MAG light as a zipper pull, various inner hidden pockets, gusseted outer pockets, removable shoulder straps, and more. There is also a William Gibson party coming up at Self Edge on November 9th with the man himself, more information to follow.

A fantastic project with a beautiful outcome. The mix of high quality nylon and leather turned out really nice. Also the contrasting brown leather tag and Mag Lite are nice design details.

Both the shoulder bag and the laptop bag (book bag) are now available Self Edge and via the online store in extremely limited quantities.

Until now, this brand has been available exclusively in Japan, and mostly known in America by only the most devout and informed flying jacket or military jacket enthusiasts. The only account in the US carrying it is Self Edge in S.F.
Nom de Guerre got together with Buzz Rickson to make this special winter jacket, which is part of the Nom de Guerre Fall/Winter 2007 collection. A top quality jacket and definitely a special piece that you do not come across all the time. It is now available at Oki-Ni.
