As we move closer to Stussy’s 30th anniversary (in 2010), the label reveals another special “XXX” item. What you see above is the brand’s 30th Anniversary Calendar, in the form of 12 separate A3 size cards. Each month’s card features a classic piece of Stussy artwork or photography over a heavy black card stock. Scheduled for a December 5th release at Stussy Chapter stores in Japan.

Swiss Institute presents “Artists on Their Bicycles New York,” a 2010 Calendar, portraying twelve of today’s most famous artists on their bikes, as photographed by Lukas Wassmann. The roster is as follows: Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Collier Schorr, Ugo Rondinone, Richard Phillips, Amy Granat, Rainer Ganahl, Rita Ackermann, Aurel Schmidt, NN, Maurizio Cattelan, Ryan McGinley, Pierre Huyghe, David Byrne and Cindy Sherman. Limited to 500 numbered pieces, the calendar is available now from Swiss Institute.

Mishka got together with acclaimed photographer Ellen Stagg to produce a 2009 calendar.

“Subtly adorned in Mishka motifs, the limited run calendar is themed around the fun female-driven fantasies of adolescent males and features models like Justine Joli, Jelena Jensen and Joanna Angel among others. Accompanying each pin-up will also be an original dirty comic penned by the fantastically funny Jon Vermilyea, a regular contributor to both Mishka and VICE Magazine.”

In addition, Mishka has produced an exclusive Mandy Morbid T-shirt to go along with the calendar. The special T-shirt retails for $32 on its own or can combined with the Mishka Calendar by Ellen Stagg for $50.

On September 26 (Friday), The Last Laugh will host a launch party for Estevan Oriol’s 2009 LA Women Calendar. He’ll be on site signing copies, as will cover girl Rachel Sterling.
