Nike Skateboarding recently launched their new Premium Sneaker collection. Along with the collection they now also released a premium apparel and accessories line. The collection consists of quilted hoodies, quilted leather jackets and matching fitted caps, as well as velour fitted caps and a leather backpack.
The collection comes in premium materials with nice details and in all black. The collection is now available at Caliroots. After the jump pictures of the other pieces.

The Cali boys have as usual been busy again, holding it up for Europe. Not only did they recently open their third store, they also just relaunched today their website. The new design looks great and also functionality improved. Now you can subscribe to your favorite brands via RSS, and be updated only on what really interests you.

Caliroots released today their first ever skateboard deck series. They offer the Mini Logo Series and the Full Logo Series. Both are available in three colorways.
This is only the first batch of boards, expect soon some specials. Until then make sure to check out the other decks after the jump.

Chinos are definitely coming back strong in the near future. Old classics come back and new brands take the classic and give it an updated look. One of the best ones we have seen this year is the new Cheap Monday Chino, the Skater Pant. The brand that made a name for itself by turning the entire denim market upside down, now goes on to the Chino market.
The Cheap Monday Chinos have a classic chino cut, with a loose fit from the waist down over the thighs – then the legs are tapered which gives the pant a perfect sneakerfit by the feet. The pant is unisex, thus fits both girls and guys. Great closure by the zipper and the patch over the back pocket gives a great contrast to the pant. Other nice details include the skull pattern inner lining of the front pockets.
The Cheap Monday Chinos follow the philosophy of their denim, which means they are pretty cheap. Caliroots has them available in three colors and they go for 44 Euros (57 USD).

The new Kiks TYO Fall 2007 collection has been released. The Japanese sneaker inspired brand continues to release t-shirts and mesh caps that come related to important sneaker releases or matching iconic sneakers. Caliroots received not only the G-Shock and New Balance collaboration t-shirts, they also got in the limited edition Aki Hoshino Stadium Jacket, one of the few cut & sew pieces in the young brands collection. Of course the theme of the jacket “Sneakernuts” also evolves all around sneakers. Overall a nice piece and worth checking out!

Scandinavian streetwear brand Sportif has now released as part of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection released their “Saint Louis” pack. Obviously inspired by the famous Louis Vuitton monogram pattern, the brand brings their own version, already introduced a couple of seasons ago, on hoodies, chill pants and scarves. All three products come in three colorways and are now available at Caliroots.

Over the weekend we gave you a look at the 3 year anniversary t-shirts that Caliroots is putting out these past days. The Purple Pack that we present you here marks the final part of the 3 Year Anniversary celebrations and it will be released this coming Wednesday.
The Purple Pack is made up of two items – the Cali Raw Denim and a Super x Caliroots collaboration. The Super collaboration sunglasses come with a purple body and black arms. With this collaboration Super shows for the first time their new Easy E frame, which will be officially introduced by them only Spring/Summer 2008. Inside it reads RetroSuperFuture x Caliroots Ltd Edt. Also each pair is individually numbered from 1 to 50, as there are only 50 pairs made.
The second part of the pack is the classic  Cali black raw selvedge denim with all stitching done in Purple. The denim comes in a limited edition of 144 pieces.
Both the sunglasses and the denim will be released this coming Wednesday – 12pm European time in store and 3pm European time online.

Our good friends from Caliroots are celebrating their 3rd anniversary this week. For the occasion they are bringing out an entire range of collaborations. You have already seen the Caliroots x Bijules pendant that was released with the 3 year anniversary denim. Now they are releasing overall 8 t-shirt collaborations. The t-shirts they release this and next week are the result of a collaboration between Caliroots and some of their artist and designer friends that they’ve grown to know during their three years. The nice thing is, that the t-shirt collaborations are a very local thing.
Here you can now check out the first three t-shirt collaborations that are already available. The 3 year anniversary collaborations will end with the purple pack – we cannot tell you anything about that yet, but it’s definitely something to look out for!

We have been spending this week some time in Copenhagen to visit some of the tradeshows that are going on here at the moment. Last night we were at the WoodWood Spring/Summer ‘08 fashion show and the Adidas Originals Spring/Summer ‘08 fashion show. A great event, some more on that later.
Firs thing we did was visit the Caliroots Showroom that is set up in Copenhagen during the tradeshows. They brought out the Crooks & Castles collection, The Hundreds, Reigning Champs and also the Ransom Fall 2007 collection. It was the first time that we saw the Ransom collection live.
The Ransom collection looks very good and it’s only their very first. Overall subtle and very solid, the entire collection comes in good quality, cuts and materials. We were especially excited about the jackets – there is an M-65 in three colorways, a nice corduroy stadium jacket in two colorways, the wax coat in three colorways and also some outstanding hoodies with waffle lining, subtle tonal hood embroidery and waterproof zippers. We were definitely impressed and cannot wait for it to be released. Also Canada shows how some good plaid shirts are made – everybody is doing them, but doing them well is less obvious then it seems. There is more to come – New Eras and denim will also be released, but more on that later on. The collection is planned to hit select stores in Europe starting September.

Caliroots has made quite a name for itself when it comes to denim. Their first series of raw and washed denim and especially their recently released Pantone Pack has been very well perceived and sold really fast. This time they created a very limited run of raw denim with gold thread embroidery to celebrate their 3 Year Anniversary. The pendant comes in a pack with a Cali Gold Pendant made by the one and only Bijules from NYC. How can you get your hands on it? It will be hard, but you can. The denim will be given to anybody purchasing the pendant and to friends and family! Release is this coming Wednesday, July 18th!
