During our second day at Pitti, we came across a fun presentation by Italian brand Camo. In the middle of the tradeshow, a couple of guys, outfitted with the new Camo Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, set up a table, got out some wine and started playing cards. It was unexpected, fun and more importantly, attracted a lot of attention.

Selectism brings an early preview from one of the best Italian fashion upstarts in the last few years: CAMO. “While misplaced initially on the Bread & Butter “Street” floor a few years ago, they quickly came to the forefront of what is the modern menswear movement. Absolutely solid brand.”

Camo was inspired by the circus for Fall/Winter 2010. They nicely mash up classic colors with some more eye-catching designs and patterns. Especially the fit is both interesting and unique in the collection. The choice of location and models results in a great lookbook.

When we saw Italian label Camo’s Fall/Winter collection way back in January at Bread & Butter, we were impressed to say the least. Now the goods have started to roll into retail, where big wooden buttons highlight several pieces such as the scarf/hood combo and the knitwear pictured above. The drop is rounded out by a great double breasted nylon jacket, a highly detailed button-up shirt and some classic winter beanies. As with most brands we like, the beauty is all in the details. Italian brand Camo has already impressed us at the last Bread & Butter tradeshow and this time we passed by again and really liked what we saw. The line is growing and continues to attract eyes with smart details and twists on their clothing. The Spring/Summer 2010 Collection consists of nice knitwear pieces, shorts, ties, pants, t-shirts and more. We definitely see the brand next to Wood Wood, Vibskov and such and hope to see them in more stores soon. The collection is made in Italy and thus high in quality.

We first came across Italian brand Camo at the last Bread & Butter tradeshow and we liked a lot their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Since that is still far away from being released, we give you today a look at their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection.

Entitled “True Collection”, the new season by Camo has been inspired by superheroes, space series TV characters, 80’s movies and more. The brand keeps a certain fun aspect in the collection. We especially like the pants in the collection.

In the end of the day, we do not only come to tradeshows like Bread & Butter to see the brands that we already know and have covered a million times, but to come across new brands, with new ideas. This years edition once again acted as a platform for these brands and gave them some spotlight. The one brand that the entire show was talking about this time was Camo from Italy.

Camo can be described as a high end mens street brand. The entire collection is produced and designed in Italy. The Fall/Winter 2009 collection offers a great set of items, ranging from shirts, knitwear, pants, to accessories such as socks and beanies. In terms of colors they stick to navy and red in the line. The detailing is really smart and makes each piece, even when looking simple at first, stand out.

As part of the Vans Vault Fall 2008 collection comes the Half Cab "Pony Camo". The upper comes in a mix of suede and pony hair, with the pony hair featuring a classic camouflage pattern. We have seen countless Vans Half Cabs with camo patterns, but this pony alteration is still very nice and fits the classic very well.

Bape is getting ready to release their Autumn/Winter 2008/09 camo items, pieces that Bape has always been most famous for. In this seasons line-up you find full-zip hoodies with several different camouflage patterns. Also they present matching Roadsta sneakers in two colorways.

Nitro Microphone Underground got together with Nike once again to work on an Air Force 1. This time they used a digital camo pattern on the upper and the turnout is definitely nice. The colors are a trademark by the brand, as they have used it both in their previous collections and on other collaboration items such as the Burton one a couple of years ago. Via Crooked Tongues.
