Not only can we confirm thanks to Jeff Staple that the Burton x Carhartt collaboration is happening, we can even give you a look at one of the jackets that is part of the collection.
Two great brands with a lot of heritage got together, the outcome are technical jackets in classic Carhartt colors, a meaningful mix of the strenghts of both brands. A while back when we interviewed Greg Dacyshyn, he provided a pic with him already wearing one of the jacket of the collaboration (by the way, the board you see in the pic is an upcoming Burton x Playboy collaboration). This will already give you an idea of what to expect!
Also Jeff Staple mentions that the 2009 iDiom collection, coming later this year, was designed by Staple Design and Fragment Design and has a Green Theme.

After their successful T-shirt project “We Love Limited Edition” one year ago, Carhartt & Fantomass are proud to present five new series of zipped hoodies.

“We Love Limited Edition 2” has been designed by 5 renowned artists: Akroe, Andy Howell, Jonone, Superdeux and Will Barras. This time the collection is all black and each piece comes in an exclusively designed “We Love Limited Edition 2” box that also can be used as a canvas. Each of the five designs is numbered and limited to 200 samples, and a certificate of ownership verifies each piece.

Carhartt Japan now made some special pieces exclusively for Japanese Samurai Magazine. Their classic hooded thermo sweater comes in black and yellow with special prints on the back and the front chest. Matching they also made some beanies with the same application that can be found on the chest of the hoodies.

The Sophnet x Carhartt cashmere beanies that were announced a while ago, are now also available at SlamJam. The beanie comes in black and a bordeaux colorway as well. After the jump more pics.

Hong Kong based brand Fingercroxx introduces as part of their Autumn/Winter 2007 collection a collaboration series with Carhartt. The two brands developed a logo made up of both brands logos and applied it to several pieces including a t-shirt, mesh cap and a hoodie. All pieces in the series feature the new logo and a tonal black on black camouflage pattern. Via Urbanlook.

The Sophnet Tokyo Store celebrates its 8th anniversary and of course the brand has aligned some great collaborations for the event. Together with nonnative they present pants, with F.C.R.B. a technical jacket, with Fragment Design some ties and with Carhartt two Cashmere beanies. Also they will release the “Coming Soon…” t-shirt.

Carhartt Streetwear presents a special series of allover print products. Three classical Carhartt Jackets in three different allover prints, accompanied by three different allover print Carhartt New Era Caps.
The series consists of a Hooded Sport Jacket with allover Cell Print, Hooded Thermal Lined Zip Jacket with allover Tape Print and a Car-Lux Hooded Thermo Sweat with allover Mud Print. Each hoodie and jacket comes in a range of colorways. Also the series has three New Era caps, also featuring all-over prints. 
Carhartt is usually known for keeping it simple. On one side we feel that with this series they jump a bit onto the trend, on the other side it’s nice seeing Carhartt going out of their usual way. Carhartt Europe has launched their new website and also presents their complete Fall/Winter 2007 collection on there. No different from previous seasons, the brand shows a perfect selection of basics, ranging from hoodies and crewnecks, to windbreakers, shirts, knitwear, accessories and jackets.  The new collection has a nice selection of plaid shirts and also jackets, striped hoodies and other nice basics.

The Big Geezers Tour 2007 – a Carhartt paint trip through Scandinavia and East Europe. Eight respected artists are hitting the road in a giant night liner to join forces and spread love, peace and friendship across the cities: Microbo (Italy), Joska (Germany), Jeremy Fish (USA), Wayne Horse (Netherlands), Bo 130 (Italy), The London Police (UK), Galo (Italy) and Will Barras (UK) – all part of the Big Geezers family.

In the last years Carhartt has supported and worked closely with many artists and therefore it seems natural to pay tribute to the Big Geezers and initiate this one time road trip. After the Tour D’Amour last summer through South Europe, Carhartt now discovers the North and the East: Copenhagen, Oslo, Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna, and Bratislava – 6 Stops and 5500km in 3 weeks.

The term “Big Geezers” stands for a group of artists doing something together. Originally the idea comes from Chaz, the man behind the London Police. He is the one uniting all the Big Geezers to one force – in this case a paint trip.
Not only do all participating artists contribute their artworks at each location, they also created a Carhartt Big Geezers Clothing collection, that consists of t-shirts, hoodies, sticker bags and some other pieces. We present you here the complete collection, something you do not want to miss out on.

We came across these new Carhartt EU x New Era caps a few days ago on some people. Thanks to Strictly Fitteds we can now show you some nice pictures of them.
This morning we showed you the standard Carhartt x New Era logo cap. As part of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection they have some other nice styles waiting for you. They present their own version of the ear flap New Era. It comes in all black and features faux fur inside. The other caps are the stone cap, that comes in brown with a stone all-over design and the pinstripe cap, that comes in navy blue with silver pinstripes and a small logo embroidery on the side.
