Yesterday we presented to you the upcoming Carhartt x Krink Marker Set. Here now a look at the new Carhartt BMX Cruiser. Not being the first bike to come from Carhartt, the new BMX Cruiser has once again been developed by Wethepeople for Carhartt.

The bike comes with an original Cr-Mo frame, skyway tuff wheels, Carhartt BLVD grips, 3-piece crank, leather seat and toptube pad and is released in a limited edition series.

Look out for these at Carhartt retailers around the globe.

Today we received the new Carhartt Brand Book Vol. 1. The brand starts to present seasonal books, similar to some of the Japanese brands. Inside the first issue, we came across an interesting project. As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, Carhartt got together with Krink. The collaboration consists of an exclusive set of three K-71 permanent markers, that includes a customized version of the infamous Carhartt Dearborn Canvas brown. As an add-on they also produced a t-shirt series, limited to 250 pieces, as well as 250 limited edition silkscreen posters. Both the markers and the t-shirts come in re-usable canvas bags in the distinctive colors of the market set.  A release is set some time in the near future.

Recently Carhartt celebrated the opening of their new Tokyo flagship store. For the occasion the workwear brand got together with fragment design to collaboration on two t-shirts, both featuring “Qatsi” on the front and the fragment design logo on the back.

“The word “qatsi” that appear on the t-shirt is a Hopi Indian word meaning “life out of balance” and is the title of the QATSI trilogy directed by Godfrey Reggio, an essays of visual images and sound which chronicle the destructive impact of the modern world on the environment.” Via SlamJam.

Hiroshi Fujiwara gives us a first look at the soon to open Carhartt Harajuku Store. The interior certainly has a warm feel to itself, reminding of design from northern Europe, almost like a traditional sauna. They worked with a lot of light wood and black counters.

Honeyee also gives us a look at some new items of Carhartt. Included in the first release in the new store is a t-shirt collaboration with Fragment Design, along other solid items such as denim, New Era oxford caps and jackets.

Spektra is the title of the first ever CARHARTT SKATEBOARD DVD that has just been released in stores now. With eleven different films SPEKTRA gives an insight into the colourful world of characters and projects within skateboarding that carhartt supports.

Here above we give you a little preview of the DVD.

Carhartt keeps it clean and classic as usual, also this Spring/Summer 2009 season. We give you a look at their line-up of accessories. Of course pieces come in the signature beige/brown of the brand, as well as black. They offer a variety of bags, backpacks, pouches, as well as some nice quality wallets, belts and more. It’s definitely the kind of stuff that you cannot go wrong with.

For the first time Carhartt and Montana Colors team up to bring you the ultimate spraycan in legendary Carhartt Brown.

Paris´ KoolFunc´88, member of the Ultra Boyz crew and contributor to the current Carhartt collection, created the design for this project. The result is “Cosmic Dust Brown” in a true Futuristic Func Style, printed directly on the can, and packaged and stamped in an individual box.

To this date Montana has produced 15 limited models for their “Hall of Fame” and next to join is Carhartt with the Carhartt x Montana Colors spraycan.

Limited to 1000 cans, they are now available in Carhartt Europe flagship stores.

Carhartt Japan has worked this season with Head Porter on a series of camouflage wallets. The wallets come in the classic Carhartt canvas with a dessert camouflage pattern all-over. All in all two wallet styles are offered in the collaboration and are now available in th US at St. Alfred.

Carhartt presents some nice goodies as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Their miniature car series goes into the next chapter and for all poker fans they also have something.

Once again Carhartt comes up with a limited model replica car. This time it is the legendary 1963 Fiat Abarth 695SS racing and sports car. The turquoise car is an absolute looker and can be pimped individually with the sticker sheet included in the set. It is made of die-cast metal and comes with functional steering, doors that open, a trunk and an engine bay. Also note the highly detailed interior of the car. The Carhartt 1963 Fiat Abarth 695SS is limited to 2004 pieces and designed by Zeek&Destroy.

In stores now, we bring you the new Carhartt Deluxe Poker Game Set 300. Coming in all black, this deluxe set is for everyone who loves poker and style. German tattoo artist Olaf Lobe who works closely with Carhartt has created the incredible design. The set features 300 heavy poker chips, 2 dealer buttons, 5 dice, and 2 casino quality poker decks in a heavy duty aluminum case.

Both the Fiat 500 Abarth and the Deluxe Poker Set are now available at Carhartt dealers.

The Carhartt x Burton collaborative collection has certainly been one of the most interesting projects this year. While some product has already been previewed by us, as it has released in Japan, we come closer to the general release in Europe now, and thus we can show you the complete line-up, which also still has some surprises ready for you.

All in all there are three complete outfits, each consisting of jacket and pants in the collection. Furthermore they also made a snowboard. The jackets have that real Carhartt look and feel, while featuring the most up to date Burton technology. We could not think of a better combination. Images via Blacklodges.
