Vintage Frames Company has teamed up with Cazal to bring back the iconic 951 Mod Col 330. Available in a limited run of fifty pairs the red-framed Cazal sunglasses will be available for purchase exclusively through Vintage Frames Company.

Taz Arnold has released a couple of new accessories through his TI$A label. Bringing back classic 80’s luxury, TI$A outfiited a pair of black and yellow Cazal 951s with an original red and white strap. Cazal sunglasses have created a big movement and have become collector pieces among eyewear afficionados. Today we certainly see a huge trend towards vintage eyewear again, especially of eyewear coming from the 70’s and 80’s. Even though Cazal has never really been gone, the brand has come back strong in recent months. Their Dita collaboration has been really well received, but their vintage pieces still generate most interest.
This year they are presenting a Vintage Collection, which consists of the 901, 904 and 946 model, each coming in classic colorways. Via Openers.

With the release of the Dita x Cazal collaboration just a month away, we wanted to give you a closer look at the sunglasses, as well as packaging and boxing of this special release. They put a lot of effort into the project, not only in terms of design. The final product looks great and each pair of sunglasses comes in a leather case and a box along with some nice accessories. That unfortunately does not come in cheap – the sunglasses will be retailing for 750 USD. Now its up to you to figure out whether you absolutely need these.

There came a moment just over a year ago when the Dita crew met one of their “Design Heroes.” Sitting in front of them in Paris was Mr. Cari Zalloni, the designer/creator of Cazal Eyewear. It was that fateful meeting that sealed their determination to do a project together.
The Cazal 902 has always been one of Dita’s favorite vintage frames. So instead of just incorporating elements of that frame into their own design they pitched the idea to Cazal to re-produce a very limited run of the 902 with a touch of Dita style in the design.After one year of negotiations and in-depth discussions between the two companies an agreement was reached that would allow Dita Eyewear to re-release the Cazal 902 exclusively through Dita’s distribution channels. While Cazal began working on re-creating the tooling at their production facility in Germany, Dita developed four custom color-ways including a very unique packaging program for the release.A deep respect and admiration for quality, design and production has for the first time, brought two independent eyewear companies together to collaborate on a project that promises to be truly exciting.Dita Eyewear is honored to announce the RE-RELEASE of the Cazal 902 in very limited and exclusive Dita color-ways.
