Element Make It Count Photo Series – Chad Muska

10 April 2010, 03.00 | Posted in People | 1 comment »

Element Make It Count Photo Series - Chad Muska-01Throughout 2009, Kirk Dianda filmed and edited a four-part documentary series entitled MAKE IT COUNT, The Element Story. Accompanying the film, Element also released a 200-page photo book (which includes the DVD of the film) packed with imagery from Element’s 20 years in business. During the production process, Amber B. Dianda was lucky enough to sit in with Kirk while he interviewed many of the people behind the brand.

“To start things off, we flew to the east coast to shoot a handful of interviews, including Bam and his family in Westchester, PA, Donny Barley in Providence, RI, and Chad Muska in New York, NY. While there, Chad put us up in his apartment, where he acted as the best host New York had to offer… Here’s an insider’s look at one of the most energetic artists and skateboarders around, and in his natural surroundings; SoHo.”

Keep your ear to the blogs for more from this series. More Muska looks at Rad Collector.

Factory 413 Los Angeles
Los Angese Fairfax Avenue does not seem to slow down with interesting new retail projects opening every couple of months. Recently after the first wave, we have seen Alife and Hall Of Fame open on Fairfax, now Factory 413 opened yesterday. What is Factory 413?
Basically it is a Kr3w and Supra flagship store and much more. In addition to the best of Kr3w and Supra, Chad Muska and Angel have the dopiest vintage pieces in LA. From vintage rock Ts, to Cazals, to hard to find vintage Chanel jewelry–the store has it.

The store looks great and has a really chilled out atmosphere. Have a close look at it after the jump.
