Nike reveals another two colorways of the popular 1970s Challenger running shoe. Constructed from suede and mesh, the vintage sneakers see pre-yellowed midsoles and a distressed NIKE hit on the heel. Available in black and blue or grey and raspberry. Hits retail on October 3rd, 2009 starting with Mita.

The Nike Vintage Running Collection keeps on growing and adds this season the Challenger Vintage. Originally released in 1979, the Challenger has a similar suede and mesh construction to the Terra and Bermuda, as well as a waffle sole for extra grip and comfort. This vintage version comes with distressed fabric and yellowing to the sole and laces. The Challenger Vintage comes for Fall 2009 in three colorways.
