Charles Peterson x Number (N)ine “Touch Me I’m Sick” Collection

01 August 2009, 17.45 | Posted in Fashion, Shoes | No comments »

Charles Peterson x Number (N)ine "Touch Me I'm Sick" CollectionTakahiro Miyashita of Number (N)ine worked with photographer Charles Peterson on a collection of garments bearing images from the early days of grunge. Drawing from Peterson’s book Touch Me I’m Sick, Miyashita printed fabric with photos of mosh pits and crowd-surfing, creating a camo-like collage pattern that adorns T-shirts, denim, and punk formalwear by way of a tuxedo and satin jazz shoes. We’ll be sad to see this label go – though word on the street is Miyashita will continue working with Peterson post Number (N)ine. Now available at Number (N)ine.
