We get a first look at the Cheap Monday Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The lookbook is nicely produced and highlights key pieces from the upcoming collection. Distressed looks, material in-lays and more are featured in the upcoming denim collection, so it seems like we are going away again from the cleaner, subtle styles that we have been seeing these past couple of seasons.

Limited to 20 pieces each, three exclusive color washes from Cheap Monday are be available tomorrow at Caliroots. These are special for the stores spring bash and will be released along side the equally colorful Pastelle pack from Reebok.

Chinos are definitely coming back strong in the near future. Old classics come back and new brands take the classic and give it an updated look. One of the best ones we have seen this year is the new Cheap Monday Chino, the Skater Pant. The brand that made a name for itself by turning the entire denim market upside down, now goes on to the Chino market.
The Cheap Monday Chinos have a classic chino cut, with a loose fit from the waist down over the thighs – then the legs are tapered which gives the pant a perfect sneakerfit by the feet. The pant is unisex, thus fits both girls and guys. Great closure by the zipper and the patch over the back pocket gives a great contrast to the pant. Other nice details include the skull pattern inner lining of the front pockets.
The Cheap Monday Chinos follow the philosophy of their denim, which means they are pretty cheap. Caliroots has them available in three colors and they go for 44 Euros (57 USD).
