Kidrobot’s Pirate Store opens Friday up in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Until December the store will be available for daily shopping, as well as a series of special events. Be sure to check it out if you are in the Windy City before years end.

Chicago’s St. Alfred presents a range of goods for the occasion of the Beijing Olympics. Their BMX Olympics collection consists of t-shirts, as well as matching 5-panel caps. The t-shirts come in two colorways and the caps in overall four.
Furthermore they also present an Olympic themed t-shirt, featuring on the front the slogan "Sportsman Like Conduct" in the Olympic colors. Info via Ian Ginoza.

By now we have seen pretty much any possible variation of a New Era cap. Lots of different materials, colors, embroideries, patches and more. At the end of the day, it’s the simple stuff that you can wear year after year.
Leaders1354 Chicago has just released their CMYK New Era cap series. It consists of overall 6 caps, each coming in one color with the logo embroidered tonal. Perfect!

Chicago store St. Alfred has released its Fall/Holiday 2007 collection. The collection consists of heavy weight fleece hoodies, Varsity Jackets, 5 Panel Caps (one featuring 3M Splatter), beanies and scarfs. Overall a solid in-store collection.
We especially like the varsity jacket and the beanies and scarfs. For some reason no brand out there makes enough beanies and scarfs, so it’s nice that the stores fill the gap themselves. The St. Alfred collection is pretty simple, but on point, and also convinces in terms of quality.

Chicago boutique St. Alfred got together with Rockafella Records for a nice little pack. It consists of the Blue Magic LP (first song of the new album produced by Pharrell), the new Jay-Z album, American Gangster, on CD and a matching St. Alfred logo t-shirt. The pack comes in a limited edition of 50 pieces, that are all individually numbered and now exclusively available at St. Alfred in Chicago. Via Ian Ginoza.

Leaders 1354 Chicago once again got together with New Era to make some fresh New Era caps. For the first time the store does not use their usual 4 letter logo on the front and uses a simple font based logo.

One cape comes with a classic houndstooth pattern and black/white logo. On the back there is the embroidery “Chicago 1354″.

The other cap comes in a very refreshing colorway, mixing white, pink and brown together. The turnout is actually surprisingly nice. Again on the back there is the embroidery “Chicago 1354″. The caps are now available in store and online. Check out more pictures after the jump.

This coming Wednesday Burton will open a new flagship store in Chicago. The store will open with a VIP reception and then a party blowout with Steve Aoki and the Dim Mak crew afterwards.
The new flagship store came out really nice. If we compare it for example to the NYC store, it has much more personality and charm. Pictures on the walls, chill-out area with couches and TV and more.

Leaders Chicago presents an entire new range of New Era caps. All featuring the LDRS logo as a 3D embroidery on the front, they released the fruit pack (banana, blueberry and watermelon), P-Rod 2 cap and the CTA cap, representing the colors of the Chicago transit system.
