The Cannes Film Festival is in full effect and of course Christian Louboutin footwear is very much present on the red carpet. We have extensively covered the studded sneaker and shoe series from the French designer this season. Today we spotted a new pair of gold metallic studded “Louis” sneakers on the red carpet. The studs are in our opinion already enough attention seeking, so the gold metallic might be just a little over the top on these!

Christian Louboutin has turned quite some heads this season with his new mens footwear line. After showing you some bits and pieces over the course of the season, we can finally give you a more complete look today at both the casual footwear and the sneakers of the collection.

Louboutin presents a series of high top sneakers, coming in both canvas/leather options and in some more extravagant looks. The Freddy stud lace-ups are of course the eye catcher of the season, but also not easy to pull off. Last but not least, they also present the Pony sneaker, a mid top shoe with pony hair upper and safari pattern.

Next to their iconic “Louis” studded sneaker, Christian Louboutin only offers one other sneaker in their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection – the Gold Embroidered High Top. The sneaker comes with a white leather base and a complicated gold net embroidery over most of the upper.

We already showed you the Christian Louboutin Stud sneakers, here is now a look at the matching Freddy Flats lace-up shoes. The shoe comes with a patent leather upper and extensive studs on the toe box and heel. They go for 750 Euros and are available in stores now.

Today we can give you a more detailed look at the Christian Louboutin Spring 2010 “Louis” Sneaker. The studded high top sneaker has already turned some heads and certainly found its fans, before even being released in stores. Here we show you the black colorway, which comes in premium black leather with an all-over metal stud design and contrasting white stitching. The sneaker will be released early-mid January 2010 at Christian Louboutin boutiques in New York and Hollywood, as well as Jeffrey’s NYC.

French luxury shoemaker Christian Louboutin debuted a small collection of men’s shoes for Fall/Winter 2009. Well known for his fiery-red soles, these pairs are no different, and the solo sneaker style, the Louis, returns for Spring/Summer 2010 completely studded out. Available in black or white leather, with a retail price of around $1200 USD a pair.

Champagne makers Piper Heidsieck have worked with master shoe maker Christian Louboutin in a box set. The set consists of a bottle of champagne and a glass shoe designed by Christian Louboutin. The box set was inspired by a ritual from the 1880’s and will be exclusively available through colette from October 26th.
