As previewed the other day, Dutch artist Parra will be dropping some cherry bombs in a collab with Converse on a pair of “(Paint the Town)RED” Chuck Taylor Highs. Featured in beige suede the sneakers are adorned with an all-over embroidered graphic of Parra’s Cherry character. The Parra x Converse(RED) Chuck Taylor High will be released soon at select accounts.

UNDFTD and Shay Maria show their Lakers pride with the the You Can’t Beat LA and Strikes LA tees. The tees are available now only at UNDFTD LA, SM, SL and online. There’s also a limited run of UNDFTD x Converse “YCBLA” Chuck Taylor Highs. Every tee purchased in store will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a pair of the Chucks. 8 winners will be drawn per chapter store (24 pairs total) and will be announced online Monday, June 7, 2010. The new Converse Chuck Taylor Hi “The Who” Pack has been released. Once again music themed sneakers are coming from Converse, this time a pack of two high tops. They are now available at Huf.

Converse Japan has worked on some interesting collaborations as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations. Together with Isetan they will be presenting a range of collaborations on Converse classics.
Mastermind Japan has worked on the Chuck Taylor High. Number (N)ine worked on the Jack Purcell and Libertine gave their own look to the classic slip-on.
All three sneakers will be released exclusively at Isetan very soon. Hopefully we will be able to show you some detailed pictures in the near future. Pic via Easttouch.

We reported earlier of the upcoming Colette x Gap pop-up store in New York, coming September 6th. Today the website for the collaborative project launched and they announced a series of great collaborations, including Andre x Neckface, Gauckler x Elms, Miss Tic x Claw Money, So_Me x ESPO. Also they will be carrying a lot of exclusive product by Adam Kimmel, Converse, Longchamp, Repetto and other brands.

Today we give you a first look at the Converse Chuck Taylor High "Leather Jacket", which is part of the Century Collection. 
"The appeal is obvious – bikers, rockers, greasers, straight edgers and even fashionistas will all want a piece of this nasty noir joint. Whilst the idea itself and link with rocking Converse heritage is credible, it’s the details in the development that make this one stand out as something much more than a simple idea done nice. This Leather Jacket has had a lot of love thrown at it – the sole is righteous in detail and the vintage moto-cycle jacket leather is locked down with finely stitched patching. There’s black anodized metal zips and deluxe waxy laces to complement the nylon quilted lining and to top it all off, there’s an embossed All Star patch and tuff-nuts buttons on the tongue of the left shoe." Yesterday we presented you the Wack Maria x Porter x Beams collaboration. Today we show you the Japanese brands collaboration with Converse on the classic Chuck Taylor High. 
They kept the sneaker simple and just added a patch embroidery to the side-panels of it. The sneakers are now available at Hybaa.
