After United Bamboo we see the next high fashion brand/designer work with Converse on a sneaker. Terence Koh was enlisted as part of the 1HUND(RED) artist series and worked on the Chuck Taylor All Star Hi. The sneaker comes in an all white leather colorway with white sole, laces and lining. The Converse logo has been embossed on only one side of the sneaker, keeping the other side entirely clean. The Terence Koh x Converse 1HUND(RED) Chuck Taylor All Star will be released November 21st at Opening Ceremony and other premium retails.

After a quick look yesterday we can show you the United Bamboo x Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists Chuck Taylor All Star. Seeing an actual similarity to the classic Chuck Taylor is on this alteration pretty tough. The sneaker comes with a white quilted upper, suede toe cap and several red accents. For Spring 2010 Converse continues their music collaboration series and presents a capsule footwear collection with The Clash. They present a series of Chuck Taylor Hi’s in the collection, including white leather versions, as well as black and khaki canvas versions. All sneakers come with interesting details on the sole and the upper, in the form of special tags, prints and more.

The “Love” sculpture and artwork by artist Robert Indiana has become an icon in modern art over the years. For Spring 2010, Converse has worked with the estate of the artist on an official collaborative project, involving the “Love” artwork and their iconic Chuck Taylor. The Chuck Taylor Low comes with a “Love” all-over print and the Chuck Taylor Hi comes with the “Love” artwork on the side-panel and on the mid-sole. Both sneakers also carry the signature of the artist, either on the in-sole or on the tongue.

Some nice new styles have landed from Converse’s Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The latest releases include a garment dyed Chuck Taylor Hi in Moon Rock (pictured), herringbone Chuck His and Lows, plaid Chuck Lows and a nice deep suede Jack Purcell. All styles featured include the Ox treatment, meaning (primarily) a more comfortable insole than your average All-Star. Now available at The Darkside Initiative.

After giving you a first look the other day, we show you some more images of the second season of Converse Addict, the Japanese high end version collection of the Chuck Taylor. Premium materials and Vibram soles are only two aspects that separate the line from the regular one. The second season consists of three colorways – black, white and a green/red/purple one. All three are now available at R*izm.

Once again we present you the latest from Converse Japan. For October 2009 they present a series of new Chuck Taylors, featuring contrasting stitching, gingham uppers, leopard details and graphic uppers. Most variations of the sneaker come in both low top and high top versions. The Jack Purcell comes with checker uppers this month and the Chevron comes with a houndstooth pattern print. An interesting addition this month is the slip-on.

Converse and the Patta collective join together in their mutual love for classic product, music and bringing friends together.

As Amsterdam’s favorite sneaker collective turns five, Patta joins with Converse to create a unique anniversary pack rooted in their mutual love for music, friends and classic street style. In true family-fashion, the collaborators teamed up with the quirky Amsterdam-based music trio Le Le to produce a 12-inch record with ”banging inner-city chic” tracks commemorating the anniversary.

With a nod toward street culture and Converse’s basketball history, the anniversary pack features a classic Varsity Jacket along with two of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes: the Chuck Taylor Hi and the Pro Leather 76.

Inspired by the iconic Letterman design, the Varsity jacket comes in burgundy corduroy with a reversible grey quilted fleece lining. The collegiate aesthetic of the jacket is lent to the two shoes in an “opposites attract” manner. The Pro Leather sports a deep burgundy corduroy upper with quilted grey lining while the Chuck is the polar opposite with a quilted suede upper and burgundy corduroy lining. The Chuck is an exclusive 60s vintage makeup with higher rands and a clean midsole without the usual pinstripe creating a more classic look. The anniversary launch also marks the first time this exclusive model airs in the streetwear community.

Rounding out the pack is the 12-inch Le Le record with two new tracks, “We Are Le Le” and “Slotmachine.” Inspired by a plethora of music styles – from Disco and Electro to cliché gangster rap – Le Le isn’t limited to just one genre and their unique party-sound fits perfectly to the collaboration. To commemorate the launch of the anniversary pack, Le Le will play at two exclusive release events in Paris on September 9th (in collaboration with Colette and Pigalle) and in Berlin September 10th (In collaboration with WoodWood).

The Converse X Patta X Le Le Anniversary Pack launches on September 5 at Patta, with a global launch to follow at selected top tier Converse retailers.

Once again Converse Japan presents their latest releases. For August 2009 they present a solid line-up of new Chuck Taylor Hi and Lo sneakers. We especially like the patchwork and check sneakers in the range. Furthermore the Jack Purcell comes in two new leather and two new canvas versions. The ST got the animal pattern treatment this month.

Converse is hosting together with Lodown Magazine a BBQ event in Berlin tomorrow night. For the occasion they produced a Parra designed Chuck Taylor Hi, in line with the “Simply the Wurst” theme of the event. The Chuck Taylor Hi is limited to only 100 pairs and will be given out to friends and family.
