Here’s a look at the second (the first can be seen here) Chuck Taylor All-Star sneaker adorned with the iconic psychedelic color stream of celebrated Danish designer Verner Panton. The traditional canvas sneaker is now available from Edition.

Converse Japan has a lot of releases lined up for January 2010, their first drop for the new year. The Chuck Taylor All Star comes in a variety of new colorways, including some more classic polka dot designs, a pop art inspired series, as well as a more classic pack with brown leather details. The metallic croc pack has a real Christmas look to itself.

The Jack Purcell comes in some classic washed out colorways, in two check colorways and also in an interesting new mid version. Other interesting releases include the Skidgrip, a sneaker that recently emerged again as part of a Huf collaboration.

The first Hiroshi Fujiwara Chuck Taylor All Star shoe launched in late 2007 in black. It was then followed-up with a red version in 2008 as Hiroshi’s contribution to Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists. This is the third installment of the shoe in navy that features the same clean monochromatic canvas upper, laces and toe-cap. Again, the heel carries an embroidered Fragment Design logo and the overall look is clean, simple and classic.

The Hiroshi Fujiwara for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes will be available globally on December 26th.

LA womens clothing label Vena Cava has worked with Converse Product (RED) on the Chuck Taylor High. Limited to only 300 pairs, the sneaker comes in white canvas with vast black graphics placed all over the sneaker.  The sneakers are now available from Kicks/Hi.

The Converse (PRODUCT)RED Leather Jacket Chuck Taylor All Star shoe debuts December 1st at The (RED) Store locations in New York, San Francisco and London.

Made up of a patchwork of motorcycle jacket inspired red leather, the shoe comes complete with a quilted lining, heavy-duty zips and snaps and a leather rand with clean emboss detail. The shoe is available in a high-top, red leather version and launches globally at temporary locations of The (RED) Store in New York City, San Francisco and London on World AIDS Day, December 1st as well as (www.converse.com) and select retailers globally. Shoes will retail for $200 and will be available in unisex sizing.

Ten percent of the net wholesale price of the shoe will go to The Global Fund help eliminate AIDS in Africa, giving consumers an opportunity to become agents of change.

After United Bamboo we see the next high fashion brand/designer work with Converse on a sneaker. Terence Koh was enlisted as part of the 1HUND(RED) artist series and worked on the Chuck Taylor All Star Hi. The sneaker comes in an all white leather colorway with white sole, laces and lining. The Converse logo has been embossed on only one side of the sneaker, keeping the other side entirely clean. The Terence Koh x Converse 1HUND(RED) Chuck Taylor All Star will be released November 21st at Opening Ceremony and other premium retails.

After a quick look yesterday we can show you the United Bamboo x Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists Chuck Taylor All Star. Seeing an actual similarity to the classic Chuck Taylor is on this alteration pretty tough. The sneaker comes with a white quilted upper, suede toe cap and several red accents. It is now available in the honeyee.store.

For Spring 2010 Converse continues their music collaboration series and presents a capsule footwear collection with The Clash. They present a series of Chuck Taylor Hi’s in the collection, including white leather versions, as well as black and khaki canvas versions. All sneakers come with interesting details on the sole and the upper, in the form of special tags, prints and more.

The “Love” sculpture and artwork by artist Robert Indiana has become an icon in modern art over the years. For Spring 2010, Converse has worked with the estate of the artist on an official collaborative project, involving the “Love” artwork and their iconic Chuck Taylor. The Chuck Taylor Low comes with a “Love” all-over print and the Chuck Taylor Hi comes with the “Love” artwork on the side-panel and on the mid-sole.

Some nice new styles have landed from Converse’s Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The latest releases include a garment dyed Chuck Taylor Hi in Moon Rock (pictured), herringbone Chuck His and Lows, plaid Chuck Lows and a nice deep suede Jack Purcell. All styles featured include the Ox treatment, meaning (primarily) a more comfortable insole than your average All-Star. Now available at The Darkside Initiative.
