Vans have produced a capsule collection to celebrate the life and work of the late actor, Dennis Hopper.

The first drop of the collection features two footwear silhouettes – a Chukka Boot in green wax Canvas and an Era 59 in cream coloured heavy weave canvas – as well as a vintage style shirt.

Japanese brand Deluxe presents their fifth Vans collaboration. This time they created an original Chukka-based style with black crocodile uppers, a white rubber toe cap, red leather heel detailing and a pink leather lining. Look out for these to release as part of the Deluxe Fall/Winter 2010 Collection come September 2010.

Last week we saw the release of the Chicago White Sox Chukka LX at Saint Alfred. This week we get the Chicago Cubs version. As with all other Vault by Vans x MLB releases, these are limited to 12 pairs and are accompanied by a matching Majestic jersey. The shoe officially releases on April 12th (Cubs home opener) but St. Alfred is kicking it off this Saturday at 12pm with free ballpark hot dogs and concessions until 2pm. At the event you will be able enter your name to win a pair of these kicks (out of towners can phone in until 5pm Sunday.)

One of our favorite models from the Red Wing lifestyle collection is the Work Chukka. For Fall/Winter 2010 the shoe comes in three premium suede colorways – sand, sage and burnt orange. Lightweight, comfortable and uniquely Red Wing. Available this autumn at select Red Wing accounts.

Some first sneakers from the Vans Spring 2010 Classics range have already been released. The drop includes the Sk8 Hi, the Chukka, Chukka Low and the Authentic. All 4 sneakers come in a light grey colorway and are now available at Bows & Arrows.

Vans unveil their new spring 2010 Chukka Low team series. Riders Alex Olson, Chima Ferguson, Keegan Sauder and Chris Pfanner were each treated to signature color-ups of the instant-classic skate silhouette. Just the other day we showed you the Vans x In4mation Chukka Low, here we take a first look now at the collaboration with Hong Kong store 8Five2 on the same sneaker. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the store, the Vans Chukka Low comes in an all black colorway, featuring a premium leather upper and a clean white sole. The waxed laces once again underline the premium feel of the sneaker, which is easily a staple in anybodies wardrobe. The sneaker is now available at 8FIVE2. Via Swaggerdap.

Vans Vault drops two clean new styles for Holiday 2009. The 106 LX is offered in a two-tone black leather and grey suede design, while the Chukka LX receives a hiking upgrade with metal lace hardware, and a rubber toe guard. As with many Vault releases, these sneakers offer something different from your standard Vans, while remaining relatively understated. Now available from Bows & Arrows.

Once again In4mation got together with Vans and this time they present the Chukka Low. The sneaker comes in a blue canvas colorway with gum sole and a black/white pattern on the lining. It comes equipped with both red and white/black In4mation laces. The outer sole is also red. The In4mation x Vans Chukka Low will be released on December 12th at the In4mation Hawaii stores and in their online store.

After numerous previews we can finally give you a detailed look at the Deluxe x Vans Chukka for Holiday 2009. The sneaker comes in a navy leather/suede colorway with white outer sole and a light brown stripe on the heel, matching the leather lining. It will be released on November 8th.
