Some first styles from the Clae Spring 2009 Collection have been released. The Cousteau, the Whitman and Russell come each in a subtle all black colorway. The Whitman features some patent leather accents, the Cousteau contrasting white stitching and the Russell comes with two white eyelets on the top, thus each coming with subtle details, perfectly matching the footwear style.

Clae has made a strong name for itself in 2008 in the mens casual footwear market. Here we give you a first preview of their Spring 2009 collection.

The Kennedy comes in a nice all canvas version with white accents. Their most popular model, the Russell mid top sneaker, coming in classic black, brown and white, with the all white colorway being a first in the Clae collection.

The new Clae Fall 2008 collection is getting into stores now. After showing you a brief preview a couple of weeks ago during the Bread & Better tradeshow in Barcelona, we give you today a complete look at the new models and colorways.
The brand nicely develops, having been re-introduced only two seasons ago. Solid colors, quality materials and just the right amount of details make their footwear a staple in any wardrobe. We especially like the models that feature thicker stitching around the toe box and their mix of leather and suede.

Clae has succeeded with their simple looks and clean silhouettes. Other brands such as Callous have tried the same, but were maybe a little ahead of their time.
Here we give you a look at the Clae Summer ‘08 range that will be hitting stores in the coming weeks. Their forthcoming collection offers more cleaned-up silhouettes in crisp one-toned colorways. The good people of oki-ni have a little preview of what’s to come this summer from Clae. As you can see, the shoes focus on single color make ups and fuse leisure and athletic footwear. After a few years off, Clae has returned strong. These are set for a mid-July release.

We present you the Clae Spring 2008 collection. The brand relaunched last season and it could not have hit a better timing. In a time where the big corporate sneaker companies want to beat each other with crazy colorways and materials as well as constant collaborations, Clae comes along and presents strong footwear and concentrates on the essential.
The Spring 2008 collection consists of overall 10 styles. Premium leathers and smart accents with the stitching and panels make Clae stand out. Smart is the first word that comes to mind when looking at the brand – they show us that good footwear does not need patent leather, crazy graphics, wild patterns or several brands to be involved. That’s maybe not new, but refreshing in these times.

Last year Rostarr held an exhibition at the Turntable Lab in LA. For the occasion they had worked on a collaboration with Clae Footwear. They made the Garvey slip-on model in all black and added a tonal Rostarr artwork embroidery to it. They still have the available in store now!

Another brand that celebrated a strong comeback last year was Clae. They brought subtle, high quality sneakers into a market that is flooded with releases from the big sneaker brands in any color and mix imaginable. The reception was very well and with their Spring 2008 collection the brand presents yet another strong line-up.
