As part of their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, Clae introduces the new Bailey model. The low top is crafted on an athletic sole with slim silhouette, yet references the heritage of casual shoes. Here we present the Chestnut Nubuck and Black Nubuck/Leather colorways of the shoe, which is now in stock here.

The Clae Strayhorn has become one of our favorite silhouettes of the brand, mainly because it has the regular Chukka outlines, yet is cut a little slimmer and just more contemporary. Here we present the mid top sneaker in a new Spring 2011 black suede colorway with gum outer sole and yellow accents on the eyelets. It is now available from Proper.

Bread & Butter is just around the corner and once again the biggest European fashion tradeshow ensures not to be confused with anybody else in this game. Their Sport & Street division collaborated for the upcoming show with Clae. The US footwear brand celebrates their 10th anniversary in 2011 and thus it was the perfect occasion for the two to get together. They chose the Romare Hi and took this season’s Bread & Butter Sport & Street “Winter Village” theme as inspiration. The outcome is a solid looking suede brown mid top sneaker with nice embroidery accents. The sneaker will be released next week, with only 10 of the overall 100 pairs being sold to the public.

Matching this beautiful sneaker, Bread & Butter “Sport & Street” also worked with New Era on an earflap version of their iconic 59Fifty fitted cap.  The cap features a wool green upper with patch embroidery and brown earflap.

We take an early look at the Clae Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Several familiar styles are reworked in spring-ready colors and materials, making for lovely seasonal footwear. We know you may have seen the Kennedy in wool and Stayhorn in Chestnut leather before (as Holiday 2010 releases) but these are actually considered part of Spring/Summer 2011 due to their delivery times.  Those two pieces are available now at retailers and clae.com, while the rest will ship in late January.

The Strayhorn, a new Clae shoe inspired by a classic desert boot, now comes in black leather and umber suede with a contrast red brick sole. First releases from the Clae Fall/Winter 2010 collection are arriving at retail. The Kennedy receives a tasteful indigo denim/chambray and gum-sole treatment, while the accompanying Ellington is seen in brown suede with a thin all-red sole. You can scoop these up at Wish ATL.

Clae is going from strength to strength. Their high top McQueen sneaker returns for Fall 2010 in a beautiful wool option in two colorways. Leather details set some nice accents, giving the sneaker a great overall balance.

Clae debuts another new style for fall 2010 called the Strayhorn. These quiet mid-tops deliver luxe materials, such as kid soft leather and smooth suede, at an attractive price point, making them a perfect transition from summer to fall. The Strayhorn comes in two colors – Concrete and Umber – and is available now at select retailers including Saks and Barneys.
